And Back Through Tangled Branches

We were playing with the football then, just passing it around. Will had had missed the throw and it spiraled into the woods. Some of us yelled at him  while others just let out dissapionted groans. No one could go into those woods. The trees were too close together and the branches were tightly entwined together. Everyone stayed like that, looking at Will, for a couple seconds. Slowly, a low hiss, like that of a serpentine creature rang out from the forest. We all froze and the football came flying back through the trees and landed perfectly between Will's feet.
