I miss the rotted swing set in my backyard,
where you could find engravings of Aino's and Neil's hidden in tiny places.
Back then the model '03 was beginning to lose its strength,
it was cracked and hanged and soon had to be torn down, giving it back to Suffolk in pieces.
What was left was the muddy purples of dirt rings and crushed tiny plants,
and where I had been wanting to plant Ballerina Ruffles into the woven patches of Black Diamonds.

I used to paint pictures of blacks and grays onto the rigid canvas of my small hands.
They would smear into dark shapes that seemed to curse out the names of Aino and Neil.
