Chapter 9: Bella

"Go for a run, you need it to drain some of that intense energy." Esther smiles.



I nod and turn around and head for the woods.

I sprinted as fast as I could, and I could run, fast.

You could barely hear me running.

My paws making almost no sound

To the human ears it would be silent.



I smirked and attempted to run even faster.

I would be past a wolf in the blink of an eye.



I immediately stop my running and freeze.

I raise my nose to the air and take a big sniff in,

That scent..

Stephan.. But not quite,

I slowly walk around with my head down low.

I look around a tree and see a brown smaller wolf, with hazel eyes. It's a she wolf.

I sniff again,

This wolf has definitely been around Stephan.

But he's at college..



I walk around the tree, exposing myself,

I let out a low loud menacing growl,

The wolf snapped its head towards me snarling,

I snap at her and she takes a few steps back.

I take a few forward.

She tucks its tail between her legs, I lower my body getting ready to lunge.

I lunge and before I can get to the she wolf,

A different wolf lunges at me, protecting the she wolf. We roll once and I quickly stand up and get into battle position.

The wolf does the same.

I take a deep breath in taking in its scent..

I immediately get our of battle position and take a few slow steps forward.

'Stephan..?' I link to the wolf.


'Skylar?' He softens.


'Is that you?' He whispers.


'Yes'



I felt a presences behind me and I quickly turned around growling.

That silly pup.

Trying to sneak up on me.

She lunges at me and I dodge, she hits a tree and tumbles to the ground.

I chuckle.

'What the hell Skylar!'

'What? That idiot lunged at me, I'm going to dodge.' I smirk.


'Okay for one, you lunged at her first. And second, that "idiot" is my mate!' He shouted.


I whined and put my head down,

'Oh.' I said, guilty.


Remembering about his mate, and him leaving the pack. As soon as I thought about him leaving I whined more.

'Why did you attack her in the first place? She wasn't doing anything wrong.' He says irritated.


'She smelled like you, and I forgot about everything. And I thought you else were still at uni.'

He sighed.

'Whatever.'

'Who's this mess, steph?'

I hear an annoying voice call.

'Bella!'

He scolded.

'This is my sister Skylar.'

He told her.

Her eyes widen

'I'm sorry!' She apologized.


'Me too.' I replied.


'I'm Bella,' She smiled.


'I know, I heard' I smirk

'Skylar, what happened.? Your a lot different.' Stephan says,

'A lot more, strong.' He adds.

I smile and explain everything to him.

By this time we've shifted back into our human forms, Bella let me use a pair of her clothes.

My body was like this morning, strong. My eyes and everything were like the preview.

"So, the moon goddess has returned?" Stephan asks.

I nod.

"Damn." Bella says, making me giggle.

"You're RIPPED." Stephan adds,

I grin

"I know, Pros of being an original." I wink.

Whew, I've gotten cocky.

"This is all crazy." Bella says.

"Agreed" Stephan says

I nod.

'Dear, come back now. Okay?' I hear Esther's voice link.

'Yes ma'am.' I link back.

"Esther is calling, come with me. You are returning to Silvermoon pack." I smiled.

"How are yo-" Stephan started.

"Just, come on." I said frustrated. I need a nap.

"Okay okay."

"Let's go."

We all shift and begin back to the pack.
