Arms wrapped themselves around my waist as I was still asleep, I yawned, fluttering my eyes open and looked at Joe. I started thinking about everything back home, If Jace missed me, How my sister was doing, and what not. My thoughts got interrupted as Joe stirred. I looked up to him right when his eyes opened.
"Morning love" he smiled at me
"Morning" I replied back with a smile
He pulled my face up and kissed me, but I noticed that I didnt feel anything. No sparks, fireworks, butterflies, sweaty pakms. I felt nothing.
'Because he's not our mate' Bella whined/growled
'Oh now your talking to me..? Plus that doesnt mean I can't fell anything...!' I shot back
'Whatever' she snarked back and cut me out once again
This is the first time she's talked to me since I left Joe and everything back home.
I told him I was gonna take a shower to get ready for my new school. Since he's a vampire he only goes to school every ten or so year. As I was getting up I felt pain in my stomache.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaah" I screamed out in agany
"Jasmine?!" Joe asked me as he held my head in his lap
"I don't know. I was about to go in the bathroom but just felt p-p-pain in my stomache" I stuttered
All of a sudden the pain just stopped. 'hm that's weird' I thought to myself. I told Jace I was fine and got up to take my shower. When I got out and put on a white top, destroyed shorts & brown pumps. I left my hair down natural, all wavy. When I walked down the stairs to get something to eat while Joe was in the shower. I heard a wolf whistle so I turned to where it came from. Oh look it's Trevor.....!! Note the sarcasm
"Where you going with yo fine ass?" He winked at me
I ignored him, walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I went upstairs to say goodbye to Joe and headed to school.
I pulled up into Fieldridge High School. When I got out everyones eyes where on me. I wonder why? I just kept my gaze on the floor till I was at the front office. When I walked in there was a guy speaking to the lady at the desk but when I walked in his back stiffened. So I just waited till he was done. I kept my eyes on the new phone Joe bought me and played a few games while time went by.
"Um hello miss can I help you?" The lady asked me
"Yes, I just transferred here, so I was picking up my schedule?" I asked confused
"Oh! You must be Jasmine Blood? We hardly get new students! Your the second new student we've had in 3 years" she said excitedly
"Yea that would be me and Wow. Well thats cool..?" I more asked
"Yea. Well enough dilly dally. Heres your scheldue, map, and other things you may need to know. I'll send someone down here in a sec to take you to get your books and show you around for the day. okay?" She asked
"Okay" I replied. I took everything out of her hands and waited while she called someone.
"Mrs.Reed can you send down Miss Hephurn?" She asked whoever was on the phone.
"Okay so Carla, a senior like you, will show you around. Is that alright?" She asked
"Yes Ma'am. Thank you."I replied
"Your welcome, My name is Mrs.Baker so if you need anything don't be scared to asked" She replied with a smile
I just waited for a few minutes till a girl with blonde hair came in and went up to the lady.
