Okay, for now I'm just writing this for myself. <3

Also, the stuff in Italic form is pretty much Austin's conscience/inside thoughts. (:

I woke up surrounded by dark, huge forest.

Austin, get up. And get out, now.

 Wait, what?

I sat up confused and a little light-headed.

What's happened to me?

I looked down at my hands, that seemed to be no longer there. They were replaced by pure black paws.  What the hell?

I stood up, standing taller than I normally did. I inspected myself. I felt and looked like a massive beast. Whoa. Oh, hell no. Don't tell me, I'm some kind of werewolf garbage. That shit's not real. This has to be a sign of going into hallucination. Or a really fucked up nightmare.

I heard something behind me. I heard it growl, with twigs snapping under it's weight as it walked, which felt like the creature was surrounding me.

I broke into a massive run, scared shitless out of my nuts. I stumbled here and there, but I stayed forcused on getting the fuck away from whatever was back there. Running deeper into the forest, I heard something chasing me, from a distance back.

Get ahold of yourself, man. Don't be a pussy, I thought to myself.

I jerked to a halt. I turned around and a growl rumbled from deep inside of my chest, while the hairs on the back of my shoulder blades started to raise defensively. I held my ground, and roared a huge, booming, echoing roar into the forest. No one is going to scare me off. Especially while I'm this hideous mut. Come. At. Me.

At that moment, in the very back of my mind, I was shocked at myself. I never, ever felt nor speak that powerful. I've got serious issues tonight. Fuck, I'm a damn wolf, for all I know! Or from the looks of it.

I heard whatever the damn creature was coming toward me still. I braced myself, and waited for it to approach me.
