"Hey weren't you supposed to go on a date with that Zach kid tonight?" Evan says later, glancing at the clock. 8:03.
"Oh, who cares. He doesn't even know where I-" The doorbell rings and I laugh. "Very funny Evan."
I get up and answer the door.
"Hey, sorry I'm late. Ready to go?"
"How in the hell did you find me?" I look at Zach curiously.
"Asked Mimi or whatever her name was. Man, she's stupid." He says laughing.
My jaw drops.
"Who do you think you are?" Evan asks pulling me behind him.
"What? I was just voicing the truth that no one here seems to have noticed."
"I'm gunna kill you." I say with a smile. "And it's going to be fun."
"No, no." Evan backs up and shuts the door.
"Excuse me? He totally just ragged on Mimi!" I say angrily.
"He's not worth it Kenzi." He says putting his hands on my shoulders."Let's just go watch a movie or something mkay?"
"Okay." I say following him to the living room. I glance back at the door and sit down.
He's gunna get it tomarrow.
