Chapter 12: Valentines

So, Valentines. What to get a girl on valentines?

I know! I'll ask Eric to help me. He is also a human after all.

"Hey Eric!" I yelled from across the apartment

"Yeah!" He said while walking towards me

"Can you help me with a problem?" I asked him

"What kind of problem?" He asked back

"What to get a girl on valentines." I responded

"Sorry I can't!" He said while walking away

"Why not?" I asked

"Because my last experience with love wasn't great." He said

"What happened?" I asked

"I don't want to talk about it!" He said at an assuring way

"Come on!" I added, "We've been living together for almost a year and you can't tell me something about your past?"

"Ok fine, I'll tell you!" He said with an annoyed face

-"I was on a secret mission trying to capture my arch-nemesis. He was in an abandoned work shop. When I found him, I thought I captured him, and that he couldn't escape anymore, but then he let down a cage.

"Her?" I asked

"No, a Majestic Unicorn." he said angry "of course her!"

"Sorry!" I said, "Just go ahead and continue."

-"So then, I froze in spot. I didn't know what to do. I acted fast and tackled him, but he accidentally pressed the button and the cage went down very fast, and she ended up having serious injuries."

"Wow!" I said, "then what?"

-"Then, I gave her money to go to a place I didn't know about al to change her name. After that I learned I could never get a girlfriend because of my job."

"What was her name?" I asked

"Her name?" He repeated, "Her name was Chantal."

"Wow!" I said in awe.

I can't believe that happened to Eric, but I need someone who will help me with Sarah. Wait, Microft! She's a girl. She can help me. I'm gonna go and ask her.

Ring, Ring

-"Hello?"

"Sophie?" I said unsure

"Yeah!" She said while opening the door

"Is Microft home?" I asked her

"No." She responded, "but I'm here!"

"Can you help me on something?" I asked her

"Sure." She responded, "What do you need help in?"

"What do I give a girl for Valentines?" I asked her

"Seriously?" She said while lifting her eyebrows.

"Yeah!" I added

"Just give her flowers!" He responded, "It's not that hard!"

"Ok!" I said, "I'll go do that!"

"Wait!" She exclaimed, "What's her name?"

"Sarah!" I answered

"Ok then." She added, "good luck on your date!"

"You too!" I responded

Before realizing what I just responded she just laughed and said, "Ok, I will!" Now I feel stupid.

I went to my apartment, cleaned myself up, and called Sarah to tell her to meet at the restaurant. Then I drove to the restaurant and sat in the table waiting for her.

It's been half an hour in and she still hasn't arrived yet, and I started to think of the worst, like: "What if she found another guy?" or "What if she got scared of me?" Then,

"Max!" She said

"Sarah!" I said back

"Hey!" She said

"Hay I said while giving her the flowers, "I got these for you!"

"You didn't have to!" She said

"Yes I did!" I said back, "Now, shall we eat?"

"Yes!" She responded

You guys probably thought you were gonna hear how the date went. It's my private life! There are some things I want to be private! But the date went well, don't worry!

We later went to our homes, where I was welcomed by Eric.

"Hey dude!" He said when he saw me, "How did it go?"

"It went good!" I responded, "thanks for asking!"

I then went to sleep but later received a text message.

-"Hey Max"
-"It's Microft"
-"I was wondering how the date went"

"Microft, I'm too sleepy right now. Can we talk about it tomorrow?"

-"Ok fine!"
-"but don't think I'll forget!"

She'll probably forget!
