Chapter 7: Along the way

"DAD!" I yelled while running towards him, "do you know a Tobias Boulderfist?"

"Never mention that name here!" He said while looking at me.

"Who and what is he?" Nick asked,

"None of your business" he said angrily.

"Well.." I said, "It kinda is considering HE KIDNAPPED OUT FRIEND!"

"HE WHAT?!" Faolan said even angried, "Did he ask for something in spesific?"

"He said you knew what he wanted." I said, "do you know what it is?"

"Yes," he said getting calmer, "come close."

"Tobias Boulder fist is a Minotaur that has been terrorizing our pack. He has always been looking for a way to get our part of the forest that is next to the river." My dad said in a sad way, "Some of our people died trying to defeat him, including my brother Abelord."

"We gotta go find him!" I Exclaimed, "Dad, can we go?"

"Sure!" Faolan said, "you can go!"

"YES!!" Microft exclaimed, "LET'S GO!"

We were on our way to look for Toby when we encountered someone on the road.

"HELP!" the voice exclaimed, "SOMEBODY HELP ME!"

"Who's there?" Nick asked

"My name is Beee!" She said, "Please help me!"

We went to see what had happened. She looked like a normal girl who was just laying on the floor.

"What's wrong?" Microft asked

"I'm a mermaid and I need to get to water!" She explained, "I can't stay away from water from too long."

Decisions.

What to do?
Help Beee, or continue to Barth?

What am I thinking?
The choice is simple!

"We'll help you!" I told her

"Thank you!" Beee struggled to say, "The nearest lake is just a few meters West!"

"Let's go!" Nick said

We were carrying Beee to the lake. Nick, carrying her by her legs, and I, carrying her by her shoulders.

We were arriving to the pond when...

"Beee? Is that you?" Someone unknown said, "What happened to you?"

"You know her?" Microft asked

"Offcourse!" The stranger said, "She's the daughter of the king of the ocean!"

"WHAT!" I exclaimed almost dropping her

"Guys!" Beee said, "This is my friend Ariel, she's also a mermaid like me.

"Nice to meet you!" Said Nick, "I'm Nick."

"I'm Max!" I exclaimed

"And I'm Microft!" Microft said

"We're looking for our friend, Bartholomew." I explained, "He was taken by an evil Minotaur!"

"Toby?" Ariel asked

"YES!" Nick exclaimed, "How did you know?"

"I saw him carrying a cage with someone in it!" Ariel explained, "how small is your friend?"

"He's a fairy." Microft added, "He can be pretty small some times."

"Then it probably was him!" Ariel said, "If you want I could take Beee from here!"

"Really?" Nick asked

"Yeah!" Ariel said, and she took Beee and went to the lake.

"Ok," I said, "Now we can go find Bar..."

"HELP!" Someone screamed

"Hang on guys!" Microft said, "This voice sounds familiar!"

We went to see who it was and found a person laying on the floor with a tree trunk on top of them.

"Please!" She said, "Please take this tree away from me!"

Nick and I lifted the tree trunk and placed it near the road.

"So- Sophie?" Microft spoke out

"Microft?" She then asked Microft, "Is that you?"

"Yes!" Microft said with a huge smile on her face, "Guys, this is my sister, Sophie!"

"Hey!" I exclaimed, "I'm Max!"

"And I'm Nick!" Nick said introducing himself

"Well," Sophie added, "You saved me, so thank you!"

"You're welcome!" Nick said

"We're on our way to rescue a friend!" Microft added, "Wanna come with us?"

"Sure!" Sophie said smiling, "Why not?"

We then went to see Barth. Now, nothing is getting in our way!
