Watching the days go bye
I realize i'm trapped
Like a bird in a cage
Sunset, Sunrise, I've seen it all
The outside world, what's it like?
I've always wondered how it feels
To bask in the sun
And swim in a fresh water lake
Because the stars are my only friends
And the moon is my only night light
I only have what I see to work with
I've heard of trains, are they noisy?
They sound nice
I've heard of water fountains,
Do they really spit water at you?
This I will never know
Because i'm trapped in this little room
With a big window to see the world
I only have what I see to work with
Are the days cold? Or are they warm?
I sleep anytime
I have no time reference
