"Hope? I'm tired of hoping. But some people deserve it, so maybe it really is worth it."

Unraveling Alice

 Alice sings somewhere far,

she reaches out to one bright star,

she hopes and dreams it will

 be hers,

her innocence my heart it stirs.

 Alice prays for someone close,

her love for him, I think it shows,

she wonders if the guy will

 ever see,

her heart is in his captivity.

 Alice reaches for the light,

she takes a chance on one bright night,

 she smiles and hopes for

 forever,

her smile, it grows when their together.

 Alice seeks her secret love,

her hands reach out for what's above,

 she took a chance on

 a boy,

with Alice' heart he would destroy.

Alice breaks in one cruel day,

she asks what's wrong, what won't he say?

Her hopes, her dreams, they all

 got lost,

her heart encased in all this frost.

Now Alice cries on her bed,

Alice thinks she should be dead,

she takes a knife, she balls

 her fists,

blood runs through her little wrists.

 Alice lives through the pain,

but the cuts she made makes her insane.

One day she finds a little

 heart,

 tucked inside what grew apart.

 Alice starts to finally smile,

it may be sad it took a while,

 but she finally knows how

 to feel.

 Alice finally begins to heal.
