My day started off as a typical day. Nothing was different. I didn't even have a feeling that something bad was going to happen, you know, like some people tend to get? No, that didn't happen to me. In fact, I woke up thinking it would be a good day. It was a Thursday after all. I'd always liked Thursday. It meant it was one day closer to the weekend. The only downside of the day was the fact that I had all my subjects that day, meaning I'd be working all day. Yeah, that's probably what school's meant for, but I'm not big on the whole working hard prospect. I'm a procrastinator through to the end, and no matter how hard I try, I can't stop myself from being one. Granted, I've never tried, but it seems like too much effort.

I got ready for school in the usual manner, then went out to catch the bus. I loved the bus ride to and from school. I loved any kind of journey, as long as I had my ipod and headphones. But all too soon for my liking, we arrived at the school and I trudged off the bus and into the school towards my locker.

The morning trailed past, sitting through the boring lessons with the teachers giving us more and more homework, the only entertainment coming from my friends. I wasn't dumb, I actually got pretty good grades, I was just too lazy to put the effort in, and lucky enough to be born with a decent memory and brain. The teachers insistence about revising their subjects every night went in one ear and out the other, occassionally getting a scoff at the thought, as it did every other day. I had better things to do than sit and revise for hours on end every night. Life was too short for that, in my opinion, and plus, I'd worry about that when it was closer to my exams.

Lunch rolled round, and I had been sitting having a laugh with my best friends. I wasn't popular in any way, but I wasn't a loner. I had plenty of close friends, and I'd take that any day over having a ton of acquaintences. The day was still going normally up until then, and right up to the end of the school day, everything still felt fine. I had no niggling feeling that something was going to happen. My school wasn't exactly in a rough area, it wasn't full of rough people, what was the worst that could happen? Of course, those thoughts weren't even running through my head, they had no reason to be there.

The final bell of the day rang, finally releasing us from yet another day of school. I quickly went to my locker to grab my stuff before saying bye to my friends. I remember getting into a petty argument with my sister, like we did most days. I can't even remember what it was about though. She'd stormed off away from me and out of the school doors, and I'd just turned my back on her and continued talking to my friend for a minute, not knowing that it would be the last time my sister would ever see me as that person. Because that had been my last day as Sophia Martin. Well, it was my last day being that version of me anyway. Because that was the day my life changed forever.

Next part, hope you enjoy it. Sorry the chapters are really short, I'll try make them longer. I was thinking for this story, at least for the first few parts, I'll upload 2 or 3 times a week, depending how much time I have to write it. Please let me know if there's any mistakes or anything, and comment/vote if you like it? :)
