Chapter 12: Why should I?

Carter

" I want sandy back" I said

"First off sponge bob..." she said laughing

"I'm serious." I said

"Fine why should I help you?" She said

"I came back just for her. I was wrong for cheating." I said

"I see and what makes you think she would want you back?" she said

"I don't know but its' worth a try. I'm still in love with her." I said

"Fine, cause she hasn't been the same since you.... did what you did." she said

"I know and it's gonna take a lot." I said

"Why did you do it?" she asked

Jayden

"That's crazy though I never thought I would see him again." Sandra said

"Yeah even after all he did." Izzy said

The bell rang

"I got Mathis next what you guys got." I said

"Ouch you got history I got Sita."Sandra said

"Same I got Spanish to" Izzy said.

"Well you know,it's never the right time to say good bye.But we know we gotta go our separate ways." I sang as the girl got up and laughed

"Boy bye " Sandra said hugging me and leaving

"Bye jay." Izzy said pecking my cheek and running to catch up to Sandy.

"Jayden!" I heard Em yell from a distance. I turned to she was wasn't alone.

"Carter." I sad bitterly.

"Look I can explain."he said

"Well you got time so let's hear it?" I said standing up and dusting dirt off my jeans.

Sandra

I can't even fathom the fact that the ex love of my life would come back to me. I completely let him go. I know he hurt me but I'm still in love with him.

"Hello Sandy, hello you been stand here for like ever keep it moving." Izzy said standing in front of me.

"sorry." I said

"Hey there relax. They will love me." he said waking into my house for the first time.

"That's not what I'm afraid of." I said

"I doubt they know and you'll be fine you have a few days to think about it. Look I'll be by your side the whole time." he said

"Good evening sir nice to finally meet you." he said to my dad as he opened the door. I hadn't even realized he knocked.

"Hello Carter." he said letting him in and shaking his hand.

"You must be Carter." I heard my mom say as we both walked in.

"Yes I sure am ma'am you must be her beautiful mother." he said as a smile split my lips.

"Pay attention Sandy." Izzy said bringing me back from my flashback.

"Sorry." I said looking up to the board. I know I looked away for 3 minute but to have a board covered in notes already come on.

The class period slowly began to blur. Mind kept drifting to thoughts of him.

"AHHH it hurts so much I don't think this was a good idea." I yelled

"Don't worry I'm right here." he said

"Don't let me go." I said in a whimper.

"Never"he said

"Wow talk about snooze fest." Izzy said as we left the classroom.

"Yeah snooze fest, look can I catch you later." I said

"Sure catch you tomorrow." she said giving me a hug.

I went to the only place I knew I could think. The tree.

Carter

Today has been a  complete blur all I could think about was Sandra. My mind drifted off to old memories.

"I love you. I just can't handle this not at this age."

"I know that's why we are doing this. Sandra I love you. I'm gonna stand by any decision you make." I said

"If anything were to ever go wrong between us I hope you find me under the tree."she said

"But nothing will go wrong." I said

"Let's be real. I'm drawn to you but at a certain distance magnets don't always find each other."she said.

"But like a moth to a flame I'm drawn to you."I said

"Your so lame."she said finally smiling

"But you love me" I said

"Of course I do you damn fool." she said

"Of course you love me" I said lowly to myself.

"What" Emma said packing away her book I hadn't realized class was over.

"Nothing, look I'll catch you later." I said getting my bag and running off to the one place I hope to find her. The tree.
