chapter 15

I was woken up from the 13 hour flight since we took off from hongkong, by the stewardess, she told me that we would be landing in Cairns airport in 15 Minutes.I quickly sat up and checked the kids, all but Ben and Gabby were awake, I gently shook Matt awake and we all sat up, I then shook Gabby awake and then Ben woke up as he felt me shake him too. Exactly 15 minutes, We landed easily. I had already freshened up, and changed my clammy tshirt, Matt then told us that its highly likely there will be photographers and video men outside, aswell as sports channels, etc. I then realised that the love of my life was a celebrity before, I never really took much notice, as in the village people kept their businesses to themselves. I packed up all the kids toys and clothes, and we slowly left the plane, as we walked down the stairs, we were surrounded by a mob of cameras and microphones. Matt shouted for me to pick up Gabby and give my hand-luggage to Ben, I did as i was told and I shouted for The older three to take the luggage and run inside, Matt picked up Aaron and Scarlett and placed them on his hips before running inside, we had made it inside security when all of a sudden one by one we started to laugh, Matt laughed too but he looked truly disgusted. We walked up to a private room, inside was a man dressed in black and security guards outside and inside the door, The man in black gave strict orders to Matt, who came over to us and handed us all an outfit bag each, he said that inside were outfits that we must all put on quickly, he said he would explain later. He took out his outfit inside was a black suit, white shirt and a black tie and black leather shoes. Ben and Aaron had a copycat suit each shoes and all, I opened Gabby's and found a gorgeous short sleeved dress I looked at the label, it was a Ralph Lauren child's dress, I was truly stunned, inside was a pink headband with a bow and white sandal, I quickly dressed her and to my surprise they had the size down to a T, she looked gorgeous, All of a sudden a women burst into the room with two younger women behind her, she ushered a smart fully dressed looking Matt and gorgeous little gabby to chairs infront of a large mirror, they began tossing around with their hair, they let down Gabbys natural Black hair and let it sit on her hips, they finished with the large bow, as for Matt they put a small dusting of powder on his face and they blow-dried his hair showing his fringe falling lightly across his head, they then took a handsome Ben to a chair and tamed his wild blonde curls to his head his hair was that Australian beach look you often see, he actually looked like Matt, this was a good thing. I dressed Aaron in his little suit and he looked spectacular, he looked much older than he was, they quickly tossed his wavy black hair and moved onto Sheila, WOW, Sheila, a dress on her, I never thought i's see the day, she was wearing a flowery maxi dress, it looked lovely on her tall slim figure, it was blue and purple with dominates around the neck, they pinned up her hair in a stylish updo, which made her look older than her years, they gave her some dangly silver earrings and a bracelet, they then gave her gladiator sandals and quickly applied a small amount of foundation to her face. She looked spectacular. They done nearly the very same to Cáitlin but her dress was a pink and  gold flowery dress, she was so excited she was wearing a Lipsy London dress, not that sheila had notices, he long hair was perfectly shaped in loose ringlets, she had eyeshadow and  a small bit of blusher on her cheeks. I hadn't seen the girls look so good together and so happy together for years. I smiled to myself, A little beauty ran over to me in a yellow round neck dress that fell above her skinny knees, she looked gorgeous, her dark hair and features fit perfectly with this beautiful yellow colour, it was so simple yet so pretty, I couldn't help but stare in awe at my baby girl, she had grown up to such a strong girl since we had taken her in, her dress was also like Gabby's a Ralph Lauren, I allowed the make up artists to place a small amount of powder to her fresh skin, so that she would be happy, Then I went to change, I opened my bag and inside I found, a gorgeous, Dolce and Gabanna maxi dress, it was a cream colour with blue flowers on the bottom, I slipped it on easily and admired my figure, I had grown into the figure of  a 23 year old women, not a girl, a women. I admired my curves and long legs. I was now a new Maggie, free of all the trouble when I was young, I couldn't help but think how proud Daddy would be of me and my family, I couldn't wait to meet my big brother again, Everything had changed so much I wonder how he was, our phone calls had become quite irregular, now maybe twice a month. I was nearly finished my degree and I was raising a beautiful family. I heard a knock on the door and I slipped on the silver sandals that had been left here with the dress, I took one more look in the mirror and walked out, the room was quiet, and nobody except the make-up artists were there, I walked to a women called Isabelle, and she quickly applied a nice layer of make up topped off with eye makeup and blusher, I looked healthier than ever. She then pulled my long hair into a carefree, stylish ponytail, and quickly cut me a fringe, She then gave me a lovely pair of earrings and sent me out to my family. I walked into a room that was like something off the TV. there were many chairs and at the top was a small podium with enough chairs for my family, behind was a white screen, My families mutters, quickly died down when I entered the room., Ben was the one to break the ice, "Wow, wow" he shook his head and came over to hug me, "you look fabulous!" I Blushed, Matt came over and hugged me tightly followed quickly by all the kids. We were all smiling and our love was clearly evident when a frenzy of cameras rushed and encircled us, Quickly the crowd was separated from us by four large men in black, i recognised two from the door earlier, we were quickly ushered to the podium and sat down, questions were fired at Matt, and occasionally myself or the kids. We were truly stunned, but we acted as directed by Matt. I found the questions were not to invasive, until a journalist from Sports Initiative asked me if I considered being a mother to my own children. I calmly replied that for now I am happy been the mother of my own children and when the time is right I may have a child that is biologically Mine and Matts, after a few more questions, Matt stood up and announced that we were finished. He told us that we would have to pose for a few pictures and then we would leave the room and head to our transport to the villa, which was a half hour away. We hopped into an organised limo to the delights of the children, there tiredness had quickly disappeared and the were staring out the windows and pointing at everything they had seen. As happy as I was I just couldn't shake one of the questions I was asked, hhmm a child of my own, "would I, Should I?, don't get me wrong  I would love to, well I think I would, another baby pitter patting around the house, giggling and laughing, Would he/she have my eyes or Matts, what colour hair would he/she have? Oh god do i really want one? what about Matt?", I was lost in thought, when I heard the screams of the children and the car abruptly stopping, I realised that this large white mansion I was looking at was the house that we would be staying in! Wow, I got out of the car with my family, the kids began to run around the greens, I looked down the driveway we had driven up, I saw vast landscape of beautiful green grasses and palm trees, Beyond the gate was a main road with many private houses. I looked back at the house and saw red and yellow roses trailing up the walls, it was beautiful. I was staring up at the house in awe, when I felt arms envelop my body, I looked up to a beautiful tanned face, and smiled, my Matt looked down at me, I reached up to him and kissed him Passionately on the lips, "Look how far we've come" I smiled knowingly understanding his statement, we entered the mansion, to be greeted by a bright bubbly women, she was very pretty, blonde and tall, perfect figure, 28 ish, but she was almost fake like, she smiled at Matt, a trailing Gabby and myself. "Hello I'm joanne,"She bent down to Gabby and smiled, "Hello, aren't you a beauty, how would you like to see the swimming pool out the back," "oh yes please, Mammy can I?" Of course you may just leave the swimming till tommorow okay" I heard an "oh thank you mammy" as she ran out the door. I  smiled at Matt, just as a string looking man with a mop of black curly hair walked through the door and into the hall, He pulled Matt into a bear hug, and turned to look at me, "hello there, my name is Damien, and you must be Mags." I smiled at his friendliness and went to shake his hand, instead I was pulled into a hug, I almost suffocated in his huge chest. I gently pulled away and he pulled me into the kitchen to meet his wife and son, I walked into the kitchen and saw a tanned women with dusky brown hair pulling a tray of cookies from the oven, She turned around to place them on the island of the large white and black kitchen, and turned to see me, she came over and smiled, "hi my names Lucy, its lovely to finally meet you," "Thank you, its lovely to meet you too," I couldn't help but smile at her accent, an Australian accent. Matt kissed me and told me, He was going to grab our suitcases to find our rooms. I smiled as he left, "Wow you really have him under your spell, the way he looks at you, the love in his eyes for you," I smiled at her comment, "Your lucky to, your husband is beautiful, and wow your accent, Your obviously australian, where are you from?" Ah thanks, Yeah unfortunately its Damiens last year in the rugby, he's over his age mark, but it was good while it lasted, I think our son Brett will play like his father when he's older,and yes you guessed Im from near Brisbane in a place called surfers paradise, but we have been kiving in Dublin for 14 years", I found her easy to warm to and found conversation flowed easily. I found that she was 35 and Damien 37, There son Brett was 15 like our Ben, a  true rugby follower, like their dads, She thought I was amazing and said that she really admired me and Matt for what we have done, she said that she'd been a mammy for 15 years and was 35 but I was 23 and had been a mam for nearly longer than that. I spoke with her for nearly an hour before realising how hungry I was after all the travelling, I smelt a barbecue and I ventured towards the door leading out to a patio, I walked down six steps and onto a larger patio, where I saw all the kids tucking into big juicy burgers, Joanne was talking to Matt and another man I assumed was her husband, Matt called me over and Damien, who was managing the BBQ handed me a plate with a juicy burger, and a salad on the side,I thanked him and I smiled at the other man and Joanne, "Hello, you must be the famous Maggie, its lovely to meet you!, My name is David, I'm Joannes husband,," I shook his hand and proceeded to the table after a brief conversation, I sat down in an empty chair to a now sitting Matt, I looked down the table and saw Ben chatting with Brett, he was a tall chap, very stocky , black hair like his dads and crystal blue eyes, he was a very handsome chap and it looked like they had hit it off, Aaron was chatting with the boys eager to please these big chaps, Sheila, for the first time looked awkward around the boys, this I realised was her first crush, Brett kept smiling at her, and her cheeks glowed. Cáitlin looked very jealous of her sister and kept snapping at her every time she talked, I laughed thinking great, time for a chat with the two of them, I had been waiting for this. Scarlett was talking to a little girl, the little girl had blonde hair and big green eyes, she looked about the same age as Scarlett maybe a little younger, they were getting on well, I realised even though she had the same hair as Joanne, she didnt have the same features, she didn't look an awful lot like her dad either, but she had his eyes all the same. She was a beautiful little girl with a big cheesy grin, same personality as Scarlette. I found her name was Alexis, I laughed at all these happenings and turned to look at Gabby, she was asleep on her plate, ketchup in her hair, I ate my burger and salad qucikly then picked up my little girl, still asleep, Matt stood up to show me her room, we walked to the stairs, where all of a sudden he picked me up too, I couldnt help but laugh, he carried us up the ginormous stairs and walked down a small corridor that lead to an large corridor, after six doors, he carried me into a pretty white room, with pink bedcovers he sat me on the bed with Gabby and I began to undress her, as he searched for pjs and her teddy. once we had her in the bed, hair plaited and jammys on teddy and all, we turned off her light and stood watching her sleep for a while, without saying anything. We were leaving her room, when we saw Ben carrying Aaron up the stairs, Joanne followed with Scarlotte and Alexis, Matt took Aaron off Ben and took him into a small little room, he helped a half awake Aaron change into his pjs, and climb into bed with his blankie. He turned off the lights and left the room. He followed me into a Biggish room and saw me struggling to get Scarlotte into her bed, " I want to Stay with Alexis, " "Listen you are not staying with Alexis, you are staying in your own bed, ok" I said "No!" "Alexis, listen to your mother you are here tonight if you behave I might  allow you to stay a few nights with her, okay?" "FINE, LEAVE MY ROOM", We sighed and left her alone, "I swear she is turning into a teenager really quickly!" Matt said, I completely agree. We walked downstairs hand in hand, and went out to sit by the barbeque. As we were exiting the door, we heard the four elder kids laughing and joking, I looked at my watch 9:20, "Kids are really going to be tired,", "You head outside, ill tell them to go to bed at half 10." I smiled and walked outside, The women and men were all chatting, I sat down beside Lucy, we all engaged in conversation from kids to rugby, to plans for beach and trips we were planning on taking, I also planned to invite my brother, Tom, down, at 10:30 the girls came out to say goodnight, We got our hugs and kisses and the rest got goodbyes, they walked inside and I followed them in,  I said goodnight to everyone and climbed the stairs inside aswel. I followed the girls in to their room and sat down with them on Sheilas bed, the two girls kept on bickering, "Sheila, listen to me, I know that you have a crush for Brett, but your only 13, he's 15, and Cáitlin please stop being so jealous, it makes you ugly" after denying from both of them, we finally talked it over, they were so silly sometimes, they really were and I promised Cáitlin that when we go to the beach we will have a good ould stalk, she laughed as i left the room leaving the girls to prepare for sleep. I walked out of their room and checked on the other 3 and then checking on Alexis, all of the kids were fast asleep,. I walked into my room, took off my make-up and jewellery, I heard the door turn as I let down my hair and left it  to fall down my back, Matt walked in and turned the lock, "hello gorgeous," I smiled as I heard his footsteps and his warm breath on my neck, I smiled and turned around, I stepped out of my dress and climbed into the large bed, Matt grinned mischievously and climbed in beside me, for an hour we made beautiful sex and lay in each others arms, talking, I asked him, if he thought we should have a child, It was quiet for a moment when suddenly he started to laugh, "I thought you'd never ask" I beamed up at him, and we made love once again, then without a word we fell asleep smiling.
