Chapter 11: Diving through

"Hell! We are really doing that?" tanong ni Andro as he looked at the ocean. A few hours ago, they started going on their roadtrip first at Cavite then to Laguna until they came to Batangas. Hindi alam ni Andro kung bakit pero nakita niyang sobrng saya ni Kordell once they were in Batangas.

She was too excited and wanted to let Andro experience the thrill of this sport.

Ang hindi alam ni Kordell ay mayroong tinatago si Andro not only to her but to everyone else.

"Oh come on, Masaya yun! Besides wala naman tayong gagawin kung di ang magroad trip. Hindi naman maganda yung naka-upo lang tayo sa kotse mo habang nagdadrive ka. We need to explore!" Kordell excitedly said.

"We could explore anywhere you want, huwag lang ditto." Sagot ni Andro na medyo namumutla at kinakabahan na.

"Aww... bakit naman?" tanong ni Kordell na ngayon ay humarap na kay Andro ng tuluyan.

This time Kordell saw everything. The emotions swirled inside Andro's eyes and she can't help but be amused.

"You're afraid of heights or something?" Kordell asked a bit amused.

"It's dangerous. Hindi nga natin alam kung safe ba talaga yan eh."

"Dangerous ka dyan. Edi sana matagal nang ipinasara ito dahil marami nang namatay dahil dito. Ang sabihin mo Andro natatakot ka lang." pang-aasar ni Kordell.

"Falling into something to deep that you don't know what might happen to you can cause you many things."

"Ang lalim naman ng hugot mo. Aminin mo na kasi! May takot ka sa heights. Hahahahaha. The great Volkov has been afraid of heights that no one even knows."

"Shut up. Kung gusto mo talaga edi ikaw na lang. I'll be waiting for you here."

"Aww di naman Masaya na ako lang!" pagmamakaawa ni Kordell. Hindi siya pinansin ni Andro kaya she did what her mother taught her. she used the infamous puppy dog eyes and said "please."

Andro, who have three sisters, was not immune to such thing. Masyado kasing naging independent ang mga kapatid nya at syempre lahat ng gusto ay nasusunod.

Andro looked Kordell in the eyes and reluctantly said yes.

After doing so, he cursed himself a dozen times.

"DAMN IT! BAKIT BA AKO NAPAPASUKO SA MGA GANITONG SITWASYON!?" tanong ni Andro.

Si Kordell naman ay medyo natatawa dahil nakikita niyang takot na takot talaga si Andro.

"@$#%^$@**^%$$..... KORDELLLL!!! ^&@#$....." sigaw ni Andro habang siya ay nahuhulog mula sa cliff.

Kordell on the other hand, looked so innocent as if she did not do anything to Andro at all. The orientators looked at her with their mouths open. They couldn't believe that she could do it to her partner. "Uh-oh" was the only thing they heard from Kordell before they finally heard the splash of water and the gurgle of words.

Kordell couldn't help but giggle at their faces, it was just too funny. But there's no time to waste. She wants to try it out as well. So she jumped with grace as if she was to used to this kind.

As she dived into the water she saw Andro's silhouette watching her from one of the rocks nearby.

"You sounded like a girl screaming her lungs out." Kordell commented as she made her way towards Andro who was now drying himself with the towels provided by the resort.

"I did not sound like a girl." Tanggi ni Andro.

"Sus! Itinanggi pa. you really did sound like a girl."

"So tinatawag mo akong bakla?" tanong ni Andro bago dahan dahang lumapit kay Kordell. Kordell can't help but step backwards. She felt like Andro was a predator slowly coming at her.

Andro smirked before advancing once again. He saw the nervousness slowly creeping up at Kordell's eyes. She was a bit scared but the determination to not back out was still there.

Lumapit ng lumapit si Andro hanggang sa halos ilang pulgada na lang ay magkakadikit na ang kanilang mga labi.
