"What?" Oops, I said that outloud.

"Yes." I know deep in my heart that if I don't give him a shot, I'll regret it forever.

His face broke out into a grin and he pulled me into a bone crushing hug. Tingles erupted all over my body.

"I do have one question though." It's been sitting in the back of my mind ever since he showed up.

"What?" He pulled back and looked me in the eye. There was nothing but happiness there. It made me happy that he was happy.

"How did you find me?" I tried so hard to keep my where abouts a secret, but I guess it wasn't enough.

"I could smell you on my sister when she came back from the woods the other day. She said she met a girl named Grace in the woods around this area who fit the description. I called your Alpha as soon as I could to come over here and see if I could find you." Oh, so he was the important visitor we were expecting. "I have my own question to ask you."

"It's only fair I guess."

"If your name is Grace, why did you say it was Annie?" He quirked an eyebrow up. Yeah, I totally don't have that talent.

"How would you know I said my name is Annie when I never gave you my name?"

"I followed your scent around my pack house at the ball. It was strong in the kitchen and Bertha said the only person who it would come from would be from a girl named Annie. When Zoey came back and said your name is Grace, I was confused. But then Cody called you Grace so that would be your real name."

"I will say I said my name was Annie to try and confuse you if would happen to ask people for me. I told Zoey my real name to try and throw you off my trail. I hopped if you heard they were different names, you wouldn't come looking."

"But I did." He said grabbing my hands.

"But you did."

After some more talking, we decided that we would leave the next day to go to his pack house. It would give me time to pack my belongings and say bye to my friends and family.

Jaxon went to talk to my Alpha and Cody, and I went to talk to my parents. When they found out I found my mate they were ecstatic. Well, more my mom than my dad. My dad said he wanted to meet him before we left. I'd say he wanted to make a few threats to Jaxon if he didn't treat me how my dad would see fit, but I'm sure they would be more of promises.

I was wandering the pack house looking for Cody to say bye to him. I found him and Jaxon in the game room playing some war video game.

When I entered, Jaxon looked up and smiled at me. When Jaxon was distracted by me entering, Cody took that opportunity to kill him.

"Hey!" Jaxon frowned at the screen.

"Thanks Grace!" Cody smiled at me.

"No problem bro."

"You're supposed to be on my side." Jaxon pouted at me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Cody I need to talk to you." I glanced at Jaxon, "Privately." As soon as I said that, Jaxon's eyes started to turn dark.

"No." Big mistake on his part. I gave him my best death glare.

"Look here buddy. Just because you are my mate doesn't mean you get to control me. Cody is my best friend whether you want to admit it or not. I will talk to whomever I want to, whenever I want to. I don't need your permission to do anything, so the earlier you accept it, the easier it'll be on you, because trust me when I say, I can make your life a living hell." I turned on my heels and walked to the kitchen. If I know Cody like I do, he'll say something to Jaxon, then meet me in the kitchen.
