Chapter 2

~~the next day after school~~

Haleys POV

"Ah!! This is so exciting! Tutor girl and hot shot!!! AHHH!" Brooke screeched

"ow! Brooke don't scream! And it's not like it's a date, yes I like him but it's just a tutoring session." I said back

"Well, you still have to look pretty!" Peyton said

"Ugh. Whatever think what you wanna think." I laughed

~~later that day after school~~

Nathan's POV

I met Haley out on the quad.

"Hey Haley." I said. I was so happy to see her.

"Hey Nathan!" She said with a smile

"Okay do you want me to drive you to my house or do you have a car?"

"It would actually be great if you could drive me. I usually just walk." She said

"Of course."

We hop into my car and start the short drive to my house.

"So? You like cheerleading?" I ask her

"Oh yea! I was actually born a natural klutz but when I cheer and dance I manage to stay on my feet." She says and I chuckle a little bit. We finally pull up to my house and walk in.

"Wow, Nathan your house is beautiful!" Haley says

'Just like you' I think to my self but I actually say

"Thanks Haley!"

"Okay let's go sit and your kitchen table and start." She says. "Let's start with math."

~~ 1 hour later ~~

"Okay. That's a wrap on today's session." Haley says

"Great. It helped a lot thanks Haley." I say. Ugh. It's so hard trying not to kiss her.

Haley's POV

after our tutor session is done Nathan and I talk for a little bit.

"So Nathan, have you been playing basketball for a long time?" I ask

"Well, at first I didn't want to and my dad forced me into it because he wants me to be just like him, a huge basketball star. But he pushes me till my breaking point a lot." He says

"Wow. Nathan. I never knew that. In sorry. I mean basketball seems kinda fun." I say looking out to their front driveway and I see a hoop.

"If you want we can go play and I can teach you the basics." He offers

"What? Oh my gosh no. I suck at sports and all I probably do is embar-" in cut off by him grabbing my hand and dragging me to the hoop.

"Here" he says handing me the ball. "Take a free throw shot."

I try to make it and it goes over the hoop and hits what looks like a really expensive car. Probably Nathan's dad. And just my luck, as it hits the shiny car he pulls into the driveway and get out of the car.

"Nathan, would you mind explaining to me who this girl is that almost just broke my cars window." He says

"Dad, it was an accident. Haley didn't mean to." He says

"Oh and what is she even doing here Nathan? Is she another one night stand?" He yells

"Shut up Dad. Haleys my tutor and you have no right to go and judge her."

"Nathan I think I'm gonna go home now." I say

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow." Nathan's says. I go up to the porch and grab my bags and as I'm walking past Dan, he grabs my upper arm and whispers into my ear

"Stay away from my son and if you hit my car one more time you'll get what you deserve."

Then I basically run home.
