Hello there loves :) I'm so sorry it's been quite the long wait for this chapter but I've just been extremely busy what with final assignements, and actual finals which I'm about to head into this coming Saturday and ending on Wednesday next week, so wish me luck alright? Here's hoping that I survive, and that I get above average grades ahaah.

Also, I mention a song in this chapter and as always, I've provided a link for you guys on the side if you want to hear it.

Anyways, as always, I just want to thank you guys for all your support. I literally read every single one of your comments and can't believe how incredibly lucky I am to have such amazing fans.

Without prolonging it any longer, here's the new chapter. Hope you all like it, please vote, comment and become a fan if you do! x

“Going home is going to suck,” I said out loud, staring at the ceiling and continuing on counting the lightbulbs for the fourth consecutive time.

Liam, who was sprawled next to me, grumbled in agreement. We have been motionless on his bed for over an hour and a half now, ever since he convinced me to keep his disappointment company by hanging out in his room. Both of us have been laying on the king-sized mattress on our backs, exhausted, defeated, and lost in our own thoughts.

“I'm definitely not looking forward to everyone's pitying looks. I could almost picture it now,” I added, visualizing the sorry looks I'll be sure to receive by the dozens as soon as I land back in Manchester. I almost physically cringed at the thought.

“I know. Everyone's going to act like they're barefoot on broken glass when they're around us,” Liam included.

I nodded my head, resonating with his statement, only to realize that he probably couldn't see me. Rolling over to my side, I faced Liam and watched him as he fumbled with his fingers that were resting on top of his stomach.

“This is the saddest pity party that Barbados has ever seen,” I exaggerated.

I expected Liam to let out another mumble of agreement, but as always, he took me by surprise. He rolled over to his side to mimic my position. Facing me, he had the most persistent expression on his face as he opened his mouth to let out the thoughts conspiring in his head.

“Let's go then,” he stated excitedly.

I raised an eyebrow questioningly, trying to decipher his sentence.

“Let's. Go,” he repeated more slowly, turning his head towards the door. “We're supposed to make our last night together unforgettable,” he reminded.

“We're in a foreign country where neither of us have a clue on where to go, or where we are for that matter. How do you suppose we do that?” I rationalized.

“By getting lost,” he answered cheekily.

Now normally, I would have waved him off dismissively. For some reason though, I was so attracted to the concept. There was something so inviting about the idea of getting lost in a city rather than in my own thoughts for once.

As soon as I gave Liam the 'go ahead', he jumped out of bed and started lacing his shoes. He called out for me to hurry up as I lazily rolled out of the bed and slowly slipped on my boots, carefully zipping them up.

It was as if we were under a deadline, the way Liam was acting. He was already standing anxiously by the door, holding it open by the time I finished slipping my arms through the sleeves of my sweater. “Ready?” he asked, his eyes tracking my movement as I walked towards him.
