Suicidal Memories

She sits in the corner

alone in her room

She cries as she feels an

impending sense of doom

The cuts on her arms show

The pain that she feels

She puts on a smile

But it kills her inside

She's lost everything,

her happiness innocence and pride

She's so tired of the pain,

Of all the stupid games

Numbness hunts her

And from her dreams she never wakes

The pain's so unbearable

And she feels like a mistake.

Constantly dreaming

She never feels awake

Her soul is torn to pieces

And her heart continues to break.

She can't explain it,

This pain that has put her life on hold,

Caused her heart to grow cold,

Don't tell her not to go,

Beg her to stay,

She doesn't truly want to go away.

She's had too much pain

For such a young age,

Trapped in a dark unreleasable cage

She wants to kill herself

But doesn't want to die,

Life just seems so worthless

Why should she survive.

She sighs as she watches

The lights on the street

She's scarred, broken, terrified, hurt

She just wants to be free.
