Eddie's POV-
Instead of staying for 3 weeks I stayed for 2 and a half. My mother got better faster than expected. I was already back in Colorado, but I didn't tell Aleks. I wanted to surprise him. I called the others to make sure we had the house alone for the next 3 days (hur hur hur, you know where I'm going with this :3) I just got into a shuttle and asked if they could drop me close to the house instead of in front. I arrived shortly, grabbed my luggage and headed towards the house. Aleks has been calling and texting but I ignored everything. I felt bad but, it'll pay off for both him and me in the end. I was in front of the house and I knocked on the door. It took a while but Aleks opened the door and looked at me with wide eyes
"Eddie!"
I opened my arms and he jump into them, embracing me. I kissed him on the cheek but in return he kissed me on the lips, I missed this feeling, the warmth of Aleks, the passion in the kisses. I pulled away and hugged him tighter
"I missed you, more than you can even imagine" I explained
"I slept alone, well with puppy chef, but. I slept alone for the longest time!"
"Puppy Chef can keep you company. I usually put her in the kennel at night"
We walked into the house but when I was heading upstairs Aleks stopped mid way
"Aleks?"
He looked at his phone
"Oh, I almost forgot" his voice sounded serious
He pinned me to the stairs and straddled my lap
"You didn't respond to my texts or calls" he inched his face closer to mine
Our noses touched and he entwined our fingers together
"That's bad Eddie, you should know better than to worry me"
"I'm sorry Aleks, I wanted to surprise you... SURPRISE" I spoke loudly on the last word
"How cute, you think sorry's going to work?" He slowly slid his hand down to my thigh
"Aleks, c'mon! If we are going to do this at least lets go to the room"
"Nope, right here. Right now"
