Paige's POV

I was shook awake by someone.

"Paige!"

"Paige!"

I opened my eyes slowly to see Harry and Zayn looking down on me.

"Why did you wake me up" I grumbled.

"The house is on fire!" Harry shreeched.

I looked around and screamed.

"Crap! Lets get out of here then"

We all ran to the exit but was stopped when a bookshelf came tumbling down on me.

"Go without me"

"No Paige, we can't leave without you" Zayn screamed.

Him and Harry tried to pull the shelf off me but it was no use.

It was to heavy.

"We will be back for you" Harry cried.

I nodded as he disappeared in the smoke.

I coughed loudly as it started to kick in.

I know they won't be back in time.

This is the end.

For me.

I pulled out my phone and went onto Zayns contact.

Then I typed to him:

Zayn,

I know this is the end for me, so please just tell Harry that I love him. So much. That he means the world to me.

I know it will be hard for him without me but please get through it. Tell Mel and Aby that they will have a good life with you and Niall. Tell Mel that she is my best friend and that I love her so much. Tell mum and dad i'm gone. Anyway I can feel myself going now so I just want to say I love you so much Zayn, you are the best brother ever. Goodbye. I love you xx

I pressed send and I let my phone slide out of my hand as I closed my eyes.

This is it.

Goodbye world.

I'm going.

Zayns POV

I was out of the burning house now with everyone else except Paige.

The ambulance and the fire bagade are here too.

I looked over at the others.

Everyone was crying.

I would be too except I had let it all out before.

Then my phone vibrated in my pocket.

New message from Paige:

I know this is the end for me, so please just tell Harry that I love him. So much. That he means the world to me.

I know it will be hard for him without me but please get through it. Tell Mel and Aby that they will have a good life with you and Niall. Tell Mel that she is my best friend and that I love her so much. Tell mum and dad i'm gone. Anyway I can feel myself going now so I just want to say I love you so much Zayn, you are the best brother ever. Goodbye. I love you xx

As I read it tears came streaming down my face.

"Guys look at this" I said as I gave my phone to them.

Everyone started crying louder as I got my phone back.

"She can't be gone" Mel sobbed hugging Niall tightly.

Aby came over and wrapped her arms around me and cried into my shoulder.

"It's alright" I comforted.

"She might be gone"

"How did the fire start?" Louis asked.

I shook my head.

"I don't know"

Then one of the ambulance ladies came over to us.

"I'm sorry, but we will have to blow up your house"

"No" Mel and Aby cried.

"I'm sorry" the lady said.

We sat back and watched as the house blew up.

She's gone now, really gone.

Gone for good.

Never coming back.

It was dark outside and most of us were very tired so we decided on sleeping at Mel's house tonight.

That night I kept having dreams- I mean nightmare about Paige dying.

"I got it!" Niall said unexpectedly.

I turned to face him.

"Got what?"

"I think Jake set fire to our house"

I thought for a second.

It really could be anything that happened but it all makes sense.

He hates us and wanted to pay us back.

I am so gonna kill him and I'm sure everyone else does too.

"Thanks Niall, I think your right" I said.

He weakly smiled at me before going back to sleep.

I did the same.
