Instincts - Chapter 2

Kat smiled at the usual people as she walked through the corridor to her desk. The women and men all returned with a smile of their own before turning back to their screens. Kat was glad that her workplace was back to normal after the stormy arrival of Ryder, all though she did notice quite a few skirts were shorter today, just in case the perfect male came back. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at that as she sat at her desk and flicked on her computer. As soon as she logged onto her IM account she was bombarded by messages from Laura, all asking if the gorgeous man from yesterday was here. She shook her head at her friend, before typing a quick no and checking her bosses calendar.  It seemed his whole day was blocked out with personal appointments, which was unusual. Yesterday he had had a range of meetings to attend. She was confused, but left it just the same, not one to intrude on someone else's business. 

"Kat?" Mr Wright called from the door of his office. Kat raised her eyes and smiled in greeting. 

"Yes, Mr Wright?" She questioned. 

"Can you please make my coffee machine work? I can't seem to figure it out." Mr Wright looked bashful, but beamed widely at her. She just smirked and shook her head. 

"What would you do without me?" She sighed in a playful tone as she stood. She shucked off her blazer and hung it from her chair before entering her bosses office and began to set up the machine, only leaving the room to fill up the metal cylinder with milk. She was bent over, flicking the settings when a cough behind her caught her attention. She straightened and span to her boss, ready to announce the machines success, when her voice caught in her throat. Ryder stood at the edge of the room, his eyes a fiery blue as he took in the scene before him. Kat was shocked to see another man beside him though. They looked nearly identical, apart from the fact that this man had darker blond hair and green eyes. His physique also looked slightly smaller, but that didn't mean he wasn't as delectable as his brother and that he wasn't packing a perfect 6-pack. She knew he would have the same rock hard abs hidden underneath the crisp white business shirt. He was looking at her with the hunger of a man who hadn't eaten in days, the same expression matched on Ryder's face, making her feel slightly uncomfortable.  Kat cleared her throat before speaking. 

"Right, it's all ready, make sure you don't press any of the buttons except the ones I showed you, we don't want a repeat of last time." She playfully reproached, her eyes twinkling with humour. Mr Wright grinned with her. 

"I won't. Here, I will introduce you to my sons as you will be seeing them around the office a lot more. Obviously you met Ryder yesterday, but this is Hunter." He looked at his sons as he spoke, and Kat couldn't help but notice the pride in his eyes, even though it was very well hidden. If she hadn't worked so closely around Mr Wright in the last few years she would have missed it.  "Pleased to meet you." She greeted the men, before turning back to their father. "Need anything else?" Kat asked, walking more into the centre of the large room. 

"That should be all. I will call you if we need anything." Mr Wright dismissed, already heading to the coffee machine. Kat nodded, connected eyes with both the gorgeous men by the door before trying to squeeze past them. They reluctantly moved to the side, but not before making sure she had to touch them first, her shoulders knocking their biceps as she pushed through, goose-bumps rising along her skin at the touch.    Kat visibly shivered at the men she had pushed past. Those two were literally designed to make women crazy. She almost wanted to turn around and beg them to take her at the same time. But that's wrong. So wrong. You're not supposed to be with two men at once, but yet, she couldn't imagine one without the other. She shuddered again at the thought of both of them her lower abdomen clenching, and her panties suddenly became very wet. She sighed to herself, before taking a seat at her desk.  Those men were too much for her to handle, although she couldn't help the thrill that seemed to ring through her body at just the thought of them, or the fact that she loved the feelings so far. Kat shrugged to herself, shaking her head to try and focus on her work, but her mind couldn't help but stray to the two beautiful men just behind the door.  It was a couple of hours later when Kat was roused from her computer screen.
