Chapter 14: The Elysian Realm

3rd POV

Y/N sat at a desk near the entrance of the library, reading a book and drinking tea. Rita was, thankfully, off on another mission. Y/N shuddered at the woman's presence. However he quickly shrugged it off and continued his reading. He had read almost every book in the library, and he wasn't planning to stop even after he read all of them.

Y/N: I wonder if I'll be allowed to enter the restricted libraries that exist around the world...

???: Y/N.

Y/N turns his head to see Theresa and Fu Hua.

Y/N: Hm?

Theresa: It's time.

Y/M: For..?

Fu Hua: Don't tell me you forgot...

Y/N: Forgot what?

Theresa: You're visiting the Elysian Realm today.

Y/N stares at them for a second, before paling.

Y/N:...Oh shit.

Fu Hua: Oh shit indeed. Come on, let's go.

Y/N gets up from his seat and walks with Fu Hua and Theresa, making their way through the school.

Y/N: Where's Senti?

Fu Hua: She's with Veliona, Himeko, and Mei.

Y/N: Are you sure Senti and Veliona won't cause any trouble..?

Fu Hua:...Yes.

Elsewhere

Veliona: DID YOU JUST CALL ME SHORT?

Senti: HELL YA I DID, AND I SURE AS HELL AIN'T TAKING IT BACK.

Veliona: THATS IT YOU'RE GETTING THE SCYTHE!! MY FELLOW SCYTHE USERS, ASSEMBLE!

Seele and Lucas appear right next to Veliona, scythes in hand.

Seele: Uhm...Why are we here?

Veliona: She called me short!

Lucas: Wouldn't that mean that she also called Seele short?

Seele:...

Senti: Tch! My fellow Herrschers, to me!

HoV and HoT appear next to her.

HoT: I was having a lovely nap...What do you want?

HoV: And I was eating snacks. Why am I here?

Senti: We're going to defeat those scythe users!

HoT:...Why?

Senti: Uh...Because they stole the snacks in the fridge!

HoV: What?!

HoT:...Any proof?

Senti points at Lucas, who was munching on some cookies.

Lucas: What?

Lucas turns to Veliona and Seele.

Lucas: Want some?

Seele: Sure!

Veliona: Hand it over.

Lucas gives them some cookies, as the three other Herrschers stare in anger.

HoT:...They must perish.

HoV: Indeed...

Senti: Hehe...My Herrscher siblings, charge!

The three Herrschers rush the scythe trio, who quickly all inhale the cookies and prepare to fight. Meanwhile Himeko and Mei just stare at the chaos with a tired expression. Himeko pulls out a bottle of alcohol and chugs it.
