The whole palace has been busy preparing the ball room for the ball tonight, i got up early to start monitoring all preparations to make sure they were up to standard
My wolf rex has been restless the entire morning which is why am not in the perfect mood, everyone knows better than to get on my wrong side especially when am pissed.
After making sure all the preparations were done accordingly i headed up to my office to finish the remaining work i had, i ended up spending the whole day there
I heard a soft knock on my door
Come in, i said lowly
One of the maids walked through my door, her head was down a sign of respect
The ball will be in one hour alpha king, she said in low soft tone.
You may go, i said dismissing her
It took me 30 min to get ready, i was well dressed and ready to head downstairs thats when i heard giggles coming from the kitchen and i assumed it was from my family
As i looked at them i couldn't hide the smile that formed on my face, i loved my family more than anything in this world and when i find my mate they will be my family too.
A trumpet was blown and someone introduced us the royal family, as we walked into the ball room i could see everyone bowing then it hit me the most delicious sent I've ever smelt.
It smelled so sweet like honey and lavender mixed altogether its then that i knew my mate was here, i scanned my eyes through the room and there he was
So small and fragile looking.
His eyes were perfect, a dark shade of green with light sparkles in them my wolf was soo excited and jumpy at the sight of our mate
I started walking in his direction when a pack group stopped me in my tracks, and just like that i saw him disappear.
