chapter2: Sandalwood

After the alphas announcement everyone dashed off to start packing including me and my family, i dont think am gonna need alot of things honestly the ball is one day so i just need expensive chlothing and some casual chlothes incase i transform into my wolf.

Mom told me we'd leave at 6:30 so i set my alerm for 5:30, am going to have enough time to shower and eat before we leave

With that though i laid in my bed letting the sound of crickets chirping lull me to sleep.

Morning

Thankfully i woke up just in time to shower, eat my breakfast and now i can take a little nap before we reach the palace, i still can't believe that avery pack was invited to thae ball its very rare for the royals to allow outsiders into the palace

Luckily we drovewith dad's car so there was no need for us to be sharing with the pack , i could take my nap without a care in the world.

I was woken up by my mom shaking me lightly , i groaned feeling tired even though i slept for the entire night coz right now it was dark the sun had set a long time ago.

The royals are so thoughtful, there was a room offered to us to freshen up and change obviously being me i was the last one to change into my outfit

I wore a baggy beige suit and i felt do comfortable and i doubt anyone will care what am wearing considering they don't notice me much.

I headed out to the main room and everyone was so well dressed in formal attire most wearing casual tho i dont think the Alpha king will like that, ive heard he was always strict about how people dressed when attending events such as this

The whole ball went silent as someone announced the presence of the royal family just then a sweet warm smell of sandlwood filled my nose and i couldn't ignore it when my wolf joy stared chanting the word mate in my head

Everyone around me started bowing while i stood there trying to see or smell where my mate was

My eyes finally met with a pair of ruby red eyes, they were so dark but bright enough for me to see them stand out in the entire board room, i had finally met my mate and i couldn't look away i was to mesmorized to even blink

Everyone around us started to get up and i could see the alpha starting to walk towards me fortunately a pack group stopped him in his tracks

I used that opportunity to sneak away from the ball, i shift into my wolf and start running towards the woods. i knew if i stayed any longer he'd follow me, i dont even know where am headed i just keep going.
