DHAARA'S POV

I woke up around 12 in the afternoon with a throbbing headache...I realised earlier when mumma knocked on the door I told her today I will take a leave and went back to sleep.

I somehow stood up and went to the washroom to get fresh...after staring at myself in the mirror I frowned as my left cheek was swollen and later when I took a bath there was purple bruise near my right rib...i kept my cheek dipped in cold water and the swelling was now almost gone

I checked my phone and there was a missed call from kashu...I called her back and after a few bells she pickup

"Hey" i said in a normal tone

" And why are you on a leave?" She questioned

" I slept late..and today I was in no mood of coming to college so i decided to take a leave" i lied in a very convincing tone

" Then you should've told me nah...I also would've taken a leave" she replied

" Srry ..next time se I'll keep it in mind" i said in a low voice

" Yeah do tell me from next time...chal bye gtg now" she said

" Yeah , bye bye" and i disconnected the call

Now I saw messages that he had sent me from last night and i decided to answer them

Could you atleast answer me?

Since yesterday you're behaviour is weird you can seriously tell me anything.

Are you okay!?

After seeing his messages I just felt something I am not able to recognise..it is weird..how he sensed that something was wrong just because the way i was typing messages...is he for real...i mean I would be lying to myself if i said didn't liked it or wanted to actually share with him but who is he or for how long he is here... I have to deal with it myself

Umm I'm srry idk when i fell asleep..
And yeah all is fine ...chill

Before I could put my phone down his instant reply came

JAI'S POV

As soon as I heard my notification ring I picked up my phone ..since morning at every notification I was checking my phone as if it's gonna be her and finally her message came

Hey.. morning just woke up...
Umm I'm srry idk when i fell asleep..
And yeah all is fine ...chill

She must be fooling herself cause I'm not a fool to believe her there has been something wrong with her and ik she won't tell me so easily as I've understand her this much to realise she's quite self dependent and bold
