𝐷𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑛 didn't know much about his neighbor next door. He just knew that he was a young man who comes at weird times. He'll be there for 15 minutes then disappear for hours. But he had to stop worrying about a total stranger.
"Hey sweetie, try this on," his mom Fab said
"Ma, I shouldn't,"' Darrian said
"It's from your grandmother. Just try it on so I can know if I gotta send it back," Fab said
"You already know that it won't fit. Half the stuff in my closet don't fit me," Darrian said
"Stop thinking negatively," Fab said
"Fine," Darrian said taking the sweatshirt.
He went up to his room and tried on the clothing. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he gets disgusted with himself. All he wanted was to have the "athletic body".
Slowly he started to pick at every little detail of his body.
"Ughhh," Darrian sighed as he took off the sweatshirt
"It didn't fit!" Darrian yelled out
He heard music coming from his neighbors house. Looking out his window, he saw his neighbor standing outside his house smoking a blunt while music was playing from his Dodge Challenger.
Darrian couldn't help but smile at him.
Well that was until the guy looked up and saw Darrian staring at him.
And it didn't help that his window was open.
"Hey, he said
"Hi," Darrian said shyly
"Is the music too loud? Cause I can turn it down," the guy said
Darrian's heart melted at how the guy was so sweet.
"No it's fine. Uh what's your name? We live next door to each other but we don't ever talk," Darrian said
