Comfort
Sometimes the things that comfort us the most,
Are the things we take for granted,
The things we believe will always be there.
They can be in many forms,
Those which talk to us,
Those that watch us and feel our emotions,
Those that are always there and can only be seen at night,
And those that don’t move or speak at all.
One thing we all need to realise,
Is that we are never truly alone,
Because there is always something or someone there,
And if you feel as though there’s not,
Know I am always here.
Comfort and support is something we all need,
Something that helps us with surviving,
Something that tells us to keep going,
And not give up.
