WIN

As I sat at the eating table, enjoying a hearty meal with my best friends, Satang, Phuwin, and Chimon, the topic of m3 not responding to their text messages the night before had come up.

I had been hanging out with Bright, enjoying our night together, and I didn't feel the need to check my phone at the time.

"I was just enjoying my night with Bright." I explained.

Phuwin was the first to react, spitting out the water he was drinking with a loud splatter.

"Phuwin!"

The three of them broke out into a collective fit of laughter, leaving me confused and frustrated

When they finally calmed down enough to speak, I asked them what was going on, but they didn't reply.

A few minutes later, our boyfriends- I mean Satang's, Phuwin's, and mine - entered the room.

"Win, is your back okay now?" Bright asked.

That caused the three of them to burst into another round of laughter.

Confused and irritated, I demanded to know what was so funny.

Bright whispered something into my ear, and I felt my face turn red in embarrassment as I realized what they were all thinking.

"Shia, you guys have such a dirty minds," I said, trying to hold back my laughter. As they continued to chuckle, I gave them all a smack on the shoulder before returning my focus to my food.

THE NIGHT.

Satang pulled up in front of the bar in his sleek, black car, the engine purring loudly as we climbed out and onto the pavement.

The air was thick with excitement and anticipation, and the sound of music and chatter drifted out from the bar, welcoming us in.

As we stepped inside, I was struck by the scale of the place.

It was a huge space, with tall, vaulted ceilings and a stage at one end, a long bar along one side, and tables scattered throughout.

The atmosphere was electric, with people dancing and singing along to the music that blared from the speakers.

The sound of glasses clinking and the aroma of food and drink filled my senses as we pushed our way through the throng, searching for a place to sit.

Finding an available table close to the stage, we sat down as a waitress quickly approached, taking our drink orders.

She was friendly and attentive, and we felt at ease as we waited for our drinks, chatting excitedly about the coming attraction.

As the noise and lights of the bar grew louder and brighter around us, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement building inside me.

The noise of the crowded bar faded away as Bright took the stage, his fingers deftly plucking the strings of his guitar.

The atmosphere shifted as the audience fell into a reverential silence, every eye fixed on the charismatic performer.

"Have you ever had this feeling?" Bright inquired, "The feeling of falling in love? That's the theme for our first song!" He called out, gazing at me.

I found myself caught up in the moment, clapping and cheering along with the rest of the audience.

Bright's voice rang out clearly, rich and powerful, as he launched into the opening lyrics of the song.

The band followed suit, their instruments weaving together in a harmonious tapestry of sound.

As the music began to build, the crowd seemed to come alive with excitement, their bodies moving in rhythm to the beat.

The energy in the room was palpable, and it was easy to lose oneself in the music.

The Darkest Star band put on a captivating performance, their talents on full display.

Perth's fingers danced over the fretboard as he shredded out impressive solos, and the bassist, Pond, and drummer, Winny, provided the perfect accompaniment.

As the song came to its thrilling climax, the whole room was on their feet, clapping and cheering.

The energy in the room was electric as the crowd demanded more, their voices growing louder and more frenzied with each passing moment.

It was clear that the audience had connected with the band on a deeply emotional level, and they were eager to experience more.

The band members looked at each other, knowing that they had just delivered a performance for the ages.

As they leaned in to discuss what to play next, the crowd grew even more insistent, their cheers turning to chants of   "More! More! More!"

Bright raised his hands in the air, gesturing for the audience to calm down.

"Alright, alright," he said, a smile on his face. "We are gonna play a cover for the song Free Fall by Slot Machine. But we'll need your help, so get ready to sing along."

The band launched into a high-energy tune, the beat driving the crowd into a frenzy.

As they played, the audience sang along, their voices rising up as one in a joyous celebration of the music.

"I don't care where gravity is taking us high and low
Jump off this earth, let's dive into the unknown."

As the Darkest Stars band launched into their third song of the night, the energy in the bar sky-rocketed.

Me and my friends were not only singing along but also jumping up and down, waving our hands in the air.
Free fall is our favorite Thai Rock song after all.

It was surreal to be surrounded by people who loved the same music as me, all singing and dancing in unison under the hot stage lights.

The band was in their element, feeding off the energy of the crowd and delivering a truly mesmerizing performance.

And with that, the performance was done.

The members of the Darkest Star band came to us, smiling.

Bright took me by my wrist and pulled me outside to his car.

"Bright, what are you doin-"

He kissed me.

I felt a mix of shock and excitement as Bright pulled me towards him and kissed me deeply.

His lips were warm and soft, and I could feel his heart racing against mine.

As he finally pulled away, I felt a tingling sensation throughout my entire body.

"Did you like the performance?"

He took my hand and gently caressed the back of it with his thumb.

"I did, Bright. You are the most talented person I've met."

"Win, sweetie, you're amazing, you know that? You're so talented and beautiful and brilliant. I'm so lucky to have you in my life."

I had never been called those things before, and they meant so much to me. I knew that he was sincere, and I loved the way he cared for me.

"Bright," I said softly. "I love you."

Once again, we kissed.

We went back to my dorm.

You can imagine the rest.
