Isabella's pov

So Asia, Connor and I started talking and by that I meant Asia and Connor were talking while I just listened to them.
Asia and Connor could basically do the same things as me but obviously they were more advanced and they knew how to hack already while I was still learning the different kinds of languages

I sat down on the floor while leaning against the wall.
It was about 15minutes later or so when Agent T and Dude 2.0 came back
"I see you guys have found your respective teams. Good for you! But if you don't work as a team you fail" Agent T said smiling at us
I am seriously getting Chucky vibes from that lady
Like seriously?
Yup! We should run while we still can

I mentally rolled my eyes at myself before I turned back to Agent T
Huh? She is giving Chucky vibes

I tuned back in to what Agent T was talking about
"Each member of a team will be provided 3 gadgets/weapons at the entrance of the exam for you to use. Take caution, because all the equipment we will be providing for you to use are real and if not treated with outmost care could lead to dire consequences. Agent Denvers will take over from here" Agent T concluded before walking out of the room

"Okay boys and girls!" Dude 2.0 now known as Agent Denvers called out cheerfully
Should I be worried?
"The exam will take the form of a maze. You and your team members are to navigate through the maze while facing various obstacles along the way like people who would be willing to kill to stop you from passing the exam. There are also many other obstacles you will have to overcome but I wouldn't want to ruin the fun by telling you, now would I?" He gave all of us a sadistic smile that made him look really creepy

Run while you can
Shut it! I'm trying to concentrate
No one answered the question in the dead silent room filled with up to 20 people
A tick mark appeared on his forehead possibly annoyed that no one answered his clearly rhetorical question
"Now would I?" He repeated the question again raising his voice making me wince a little
"NO SIR!!" Everyone including me yelled out
"Great!!" He exclaimed throwing out his hands a bit while switching from dark and scary to happy and cheerful

"The team with the purple wristbands will go first followed by orange, then green, then blue, then red, then black, then yellow and then last but not least white" Agent Denvers said really fast that I doubt anyone caught what he was saying
I think I heard him say that black was going 6th or something

"Now whoever needs me to repeat that should just raise their hands" Literally everyone raised their hands up including me. Agent Denvers looked at the us with a huge smile on his face that made me nervous
"Good! Everyone got that" He clapped his hands together while putting them in front of him
"Good luck in the exam kids" He smiled at us creepily before walking out
Once he walked out, I heard one of the kids ask what the hell just happened most likely to still be in shock

"Okay from what I heard I think we should be going 6th right?" Asia said turning to me and Connor and by that I just meant Connor cause I had turning to my original position on the floor. Connor just shrugged not really answering her question while having an intense stare-off with the floor
I gently tapped his ankle to get his attention. He switched his gaze to me still looking down though cause I was on the floor. I gave him a small smile causing him to sigh before smiling back

"We're after red and before yellow and white" I answered Asia as Connor slid down the wall to sit next to me
"So we're 6th" Asia stated confirming her own thought from before
"It'll be a while before we are up" She said making Connor and I to hum in agreement before we were plunged into silence

I looked around the room before my eyes caught Cassie, she was looking around the room with her right hand rubbing against her left arm. A clear sign that she was nervous. Just as her eyes locked with mine all the signs of nervousness disappeared and she waved at me as if her arm depended on it
I giggled a bit waving a back at her. I mouthed her 'good luck' knowing that her team was going third and she just blew me a kiss in response. I made the motion of catching the air kiss with my right hand putting it against my heart before dramatically putting my left hand on my forehead

'We really need to stop watching rom-com movies' I mouthed to her and I'm pretty sure she mouthed the same thing cause she covered her mouth and started laughing. I giggled again catching the attention of Connor
"What are you giggling about?" He asked looking down at me cause even though we were sitting down, he was still towering over me
"My friend" I answered pointing at Cassie making him to look at her. Cassie responded to the added attention with an overenthusiastic wave making him chuckle
"Quite a friend you got there" He said waving a bit to Cassie so that he won't seem rude. I turned back to see Cassie smile brightly as Connor waved back

"Yeah she's the best"
