After the battle of Hogwarts!!

After the battle with all the death and damage Voldemort had caused Tom was left with the guilt of it all, even though most didn't blamed him he still felt as though it was his fault.

He stood there looking at the damaged Hogwarts and the people who had fought so hard to protect it and the thought that he could have prevented it all if he had done something about it earlier danced on his brain.

All the pain him and his father had caused these people was too much for him, he looked around to see those who lost family members, significant other or just a friend. They were all in pain and it was because of him .

He stood there staring as his mind wondered

“ Tom ” he heard as his trance broke, he spun around to meet the  teary eyes of his girlfriend “Amirah” covered in dirt and dried blood she still looked as beautiful as when he just layed eyes on her.

“ what's wrong ” he asked stepping closer and holding her face

“ my mother ” she let out softly as tears streamed down her face, Tom quickly held her in an embrace

Another death , another loss and it was all his fault. Bellatrix had warned Tom to let go of Amirah but he couldn't he was selfish, he needed her and because of that Voldemort attacked her and her family. He had hurt everyone including the girl he swore to protect , he needed to leave if he was not near her no more harm would ever come to her .

Tom pulled away to look in Amirah's eyes , all the pain and devastation that swarmed her eyes made it even more clear what he had to do

" Amirah , I've always sworn to protect you always and forever and this.... darling... is the only way I know how ” he said tears forming in his eyes

“ I don't understand, what do you mean ” she said watching his tears fall

" I have to let you go ” he said as he grabbed her face bringing their foreheads together

" What , no” she said between sobs

“ this is the only way, I have to leave ” he said

" Leaving me is not protecting me Tom , we had plans , we were gonna get married (sob) and have babies ” she said grabbing his hand

“ I know love , I do want that-”

“ then don't leave, don't leave me tom” she said holding his hand tightly

“im sorry, I have too” he said as he apparated

Tears streamed down her face as he disappeared out of her arms , she held her stomach while she stood there crying

“Amirah are you ok” she herd a familiar voice say

She spun around as she fell into his arms

“ he's gone , he left us” she sobbed

“ it's gonna be ok” he said

“ no Mattheo , it's not I have no one ”

“you have me , always” Mattheo said as he held her.
