Navy-
When I came back Brook was back to work and Em was just looking around and swinging his feet like normal, when I sat down he lit up and starting talking quickly and with his hands while I listened, maybe he'll give me a secret hint "Cookies! I love cookies and Brook said they might start serving them! I like things that start with N so I suggested to put Nutella in them because that sounds yummy!"

Embry-
Navy analyzed the information I gave him searching for hints while I smiled then he gave me a look like he realized what I meant "You like things that start with N?" He said and I nodded, he thought for a second then his eyes widened like he finally knew the answer but Brook came in right on time

B: Heres the coffee you ordered but I made it better by mixing sweet stuff with it and now it's called a frappe
E: Thanks Brook! Your so nice : )
B: No problem sunshine *she sits down with them*
N: Can I have one too?
B: Sure I'll get it in a minute, I'm on break
N: Oh okay : )
B: So how long how you guys been besties exactly?
E: A month (There was a time skip somewhere)
N: Sounds about right : )

Flash back

B: Let him answer first so he doesn't just agree with you
E: Okay good idea! : )

End of flashback

B: Navy do you love Embry?
N: Of course, that's my favorite person
E: Awe your my favorite person too!
B: Do you love Navy?
E: Mhm! : ) that's my best friend in the whole wide world and he's irreplaceable!

Navy-
This is almost a month later and I'm sitting up in bed thinking about it, after that day we kinda just dropped the whole thing and it never came back up, nothing changed but I rememberd it out of the blue and "Holy shit Embry has a crush on me!"

Embry-
"Can you believe he said he loves me!" I said to myself because it's the middle of the night and I don't have friends to tell this too so I just tell myself : ) "But Em it's been a month, he doesn't have feelings for you" "NONSENSE! That's okay because he's my best best best best friend ever and I'm his to so I'm fine just being that 😆" right? : )

Navy-
I have never been so ready for school a day in my life, I like Embry! I knew I did but I thought it was just as a friend. When I got to school I tried to be late so he'd get there before me "Navy's here" I said "Good take your seat" the teacher said and I looked to the back and saw Embry smiling at me "Hi Embry" I said and he yelled "Good morning Navy! : )" while waving aggressively

Embry-
When Navy sat down he kinda just looked at me so I smiled and held out my arms for a hug he accepted and hugged me but not a side hug as usual, he actually gave me a full hug and I felt like that most specialist person in the whole wide world! : ) "What was that for? : )" I asked when he pulled away "Nothin" he said and laughed "Want to know a secret?" I said and he nodded

Navy-
"I search for comfort in other people but you're the first person I've found it in. I'll never find another best friend! Never ever!" He said and I smiled "Awe your my comfort person too!" I said "So that means we need to stay together forever okay?" I added and he lit up, we pinky promised and suddenly our feelings were so clear and transparent

Embry-
After school me and Navy were walking to the subway to go to the library across town, he was walking and I was skipping and yapping as always but when I stopped for him to catch up someone picked up my hand and kissed it, I turned to see who did it and when I saw his face my eyes went wide

Navy-
When I caught up I saw a guy holding Embry's hand and he looked kinda scared so I went up to them

N: What's wrong Em?
H: Calm down Embry
E: What do you want
N: Do you know each other
H: Yeah we're friends
E: Your not my friend
H: Embry
(He grabs Embry's hand and he snatches it away)
N: Maybe we should go
H: I don't know why he's acting like that we're besties right Embry
E: You're not - my fucking friend and you never have been so let me go!

Embry-
That is not my friend, I changed everything about myself to leave him in the past but just seeing his face brung it all back and still I'm not mad "Embry wait!" Navy said and I turned around "Talk to me what's wrong?" He asked wrapping his arms around me, I wanted to cry but no tears came down, it was like the emotions of sadness and anger were turned off

E: I'm fine don't worry! : )
N: What happened back there? You never cuss
E: He really takes me out of character, I'm sorry : )
N: Don't apologize it's fine : ), did anything happen between you too?
E: "He's not my friend and he never had been" that's exactly what he said when they tried to drown me : )
N: Drown you?!
E: He's was my only friend and the first person I came out to but apparently that didn't matter to him because him and the guys that were always mean to me grouped up and tried to kill me at the beach : )
N: No way
E: Yeah but it's fine, see my smile? That means I don't hold grudges and I'm not upset about it anymore, I changed everything about myself so nobody would have a reason to not like me anymore and look, I got a best friend out of it : )
