Statue
You get into a new school and move into it's in campus hostel. Everything seems fine. The rooms are clean and fancy, the students are nice and the teachers are helpful. The school building is bustling with life all day, until it's night time.
The human sized statue of the school founder seems to come to life. You can swear that it watches you. From the corner of your eyes, you can see it move. You're sure it's alive, only pretending to be a statue when you're looking.
