It's exactly 4:02pm and Briar's on her way home. Kaka bukas lang kasi ng gates. 4:00pm kasi ang labasan kaya't kahit gaano pa ka aga matapos ang lesson ay hindi ka padin makaka uwi hanggat hindi pa uwian.
She's currently walking her way home since 3km away lang naman ang bh nya sa school. It's not that tiring since lively naman ang daan and it also helped her alot in terms of saving for the month dahil ang tanging bumubuhay nalang sa kanya ay ang monthly allowance nya as a scholar student na 3k na pinag kukunan nya sa lahat.
As she walked pass the kids park which is a block away from her apartment, she saw a familiar face around the corner strangely looking at her. SH*T WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?
She tried to avoid him at first not until tinawag sya nito.
"Don't you think it's offensive to tell someone you love them and at the same time avoid them?" he shouted capturing some of the kids attention kaya't dali-dali syang lumapit and hushed his mouth. BWES*T!
"Well, don't you think it's illegal to tail someone without their permission?" she murmured. Hand still covering Xecon's mouth which he immediately snapped. "Who's following who?"
"Sus sabihin mo nalang kasi kung gusto mong malaman bahay ko, sasama pa kita e" said she and took 3 steps backwards.
"Anyways gusto din naman kita kaya't wag kanang magpa ligoy-ligoy pa! grab the opportunity while andiyan pa" she added and put a light pat on his shoulder.
"T*nga sino ka naman para pagbuntutan ko? nasa kalingkingan kalang ng standards ko okay?" he countered and immediately headed his way on the other side of the road. WHERE DOES HE THINK HE'S GOING?
"HOY! EXCUSE ME. "kung standards lang pag uusapan pwes kung alam mo lang ilang lalaki na ang na busted ko. Not to mention ang gagara pa nung iba, yung iba nga de-kotse pa. tsk" she bickered sabay hablot ng balikat ni Xecon ng biglang umiwas ito kahat mask nya ang nahablot.
He immediately covered his face kaya't walang nakita si Briar that made her curious. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? pango kaba? kaya ba you considered yourself as a cheater kasi iniiwanan ka ng mga naging jowa mo kasi nga 'PANGO KA?'" pangungutya nya at itinapon ang mask na hawak nya sabay apak nito. Hindi sumagot si Xecon at para bang may kinukuha sa bulsa nya kaya't nagpatuloy na sya. "Poor thing, alam mo ba na when you put your finger on the tip of your nose and try reaching your moth with it, pag umabot attractive ka? that's why cheer up. Unlike me good kisser lang. Di ko kasi abot yung sakin e. My nose is too long para sa mga ganun"
Xecon put on his mask na kinuha nya sa bulsa nya and started talking. "Atleast I'm not as petty as you, Cheater nalang pinili palibhasa pagod na kaka delulu ng mga imaginary rich suitors" when finally satisfied with the looks Briar was showing he continued. "Good kisser my a*s, mas mahaba panga tong ilong ko kesa sa future mo" ani nya at nagpatuloy na sa pag lalakad until he crossed the road which agad namang sinundan ni Briar.
"heh! ano gusto mo e try? let's see sino mas magaling?" ani nya while blocking Xecon herself. Xecon took a turn around her and continued walking. "No thanks"
This made Briar very pissed and blocked Xecon once again. "You know what, you're pretty interesting. Acting all cold and nonchalant at school but in reality, you're actually shameless " said she that made Xecon speechless for a moment that gave her an advantage to continue speaking up. "Don't worry, it isn't a big deal. In addition, I loved you even more. I want to change you or rather you change for me"
Xecon pointed his head and gently murmured "I really do think you need a counselor for consultation"
"And could you please move out of my way?, I'm tryna go home here." he said with a pat on her head. Not to mention they are actually 1.5ft. apart from each other.
"Neh! you'll fall for me! you'll see" she shouted shoo-wing away his hands away from her head and intentionally stepping back not long after she realized something. "Just where the h*ll do you think you're doing? it's not like you're also living in the apartment that I'm renting ain't you? Magmumukha naman tatong kdrama nyan" she added.
Xecon just waved of his hands "Don't worry may sarili akong bahay" and continued walking.
Briar followed after him until they reached the end of the block na sa isang liko nya lang pakanan ay apartment nya na. She hesitated at first, not until nasiguro nyang pakaliwa ang distinasyon ni Xecon. HAAAHHH! WHAT A RELIEF
"Bye mi love, don't forget to love me tomorrow" ani nya hindi naman pinansin ni Xecon. hindi muna sya pumasok sa apartment nya until nasiguro nyang wala nang ni anino ni Xecon ang makakakita.
"Hahaha better tell Sevi about today" she murmured as she entered her room and go straight to her bed. It's already 5:15 in the evening and sa kasamaang palad, wala syang ni isang cup noodles na natira.
Moments later she heard her phone buzzing which made her realized that she fell a tiny bit of sleep. it's 6:42pm and Sevi is face-timing her. She immediately tidied herself up and picked the call up. She received countless naggings for not eating dinner before they go down to business.
She told her about her day and about how she met her 'future lover'. Sevi is a few months older than her but appears to be more mature ever since Sevi's twin Seri died about 4years ago.
"Basta Ly Siguraduhin mo lang talagang matino yang lalaking yan kasi kun-di ah! malilintikan ka talaga sakin. Kay daming nag hahabol sayo na matino dyan kapa talaga sa Cheater-cheater mong yan e mukhang b*bo pa naman yan" ani nito na may pa hampas-hampas pa sa screen ng phone nya.
"Grabi ka naman teh dimo panga kilala ang tao b*bo na agad? tsaka sabi nga ni mama diba mas mabuti pang mahalin ang isang cheater kasi may chance pang mag bago, e ang mga matitino? yung mga ganong tao may chance yung maging cheater sus!"
"Nako Briarly tigil-tigilan moko sa mga pinag sasabi mo, basta siguraduhin mo lang talaga kun-di nako! tsaka kung matalino pa yan di yan mag ba-bitterfly no"
"Di naman ata sya butterfly, baka transferee lang, baka wala ang SOCSCIE sa school nila dati" Pag dedepensa nya na nginiwian lang ni Sevi.
"Ano nga pala pangalan nang lalaking ya...." di na natapos ni Sevi ang sasabihin nya ng pinat*yan sya ni Briar ng phone. "Ahhhhh wag kanang mag tanong e s-stalk mo nanaman e, tapos mag o-overthink ka nanaman tapos pagsasabihan mo nanaman ako? Basta matutulog nako byeeeee!" she shut her phone down pressed a pillow down her face and slept.
