meredith was in they last month of her first year in medical school and she was studying that night when she started feeling a sharp pain in her stomach
she took a pepto and other pills but none of them helped she tried figuring it out herself looking through her notes and textbook but she couldn't focus because of the pain so she took a cab to the hospital
once she got there they were gonna examine her thinking she was pregnant, she was in an exam room waiting for a doctor when this tall beautiful, leggy blue eyed woman came in, at some point she forgets about the pain when she's looking at the woman
"meredith grey? you have a stomach ache huh?" addison asks looking through the charts
"yeah" meredith answers
"okay, why don't you lay on your back for me" addison says and meredith does just that
she put on some gloves and started pressing softly around her stomach
"any pain here?" she asks
"no" meredith answers
"here?" addison asks
"nope" meredith says
"what about here?" addison asks
"ouch" meredith winced
"sorry" addison says
"i don't think you're pregnant but i'll check for you" addison says pulling the machine over
after the examination she wasn't pregnant
"you're not pregnant" addison says
"i got it!" meredith says sitting up
"hm?" addison pulls meredith's shirt down after she sat up
"i have appendicitis, the excruciating pain on my lower abdomen really explains it" meredith says
"solving your own mysteries ms.grey, you're a smart one" addison says
"i am" she looks at addison
"okay we need to operate then" addison says "but to make sure we should get you scanned" she says
"you don't trust me?" meredith raises her brow
"well not exactly" addison says "you're just a kid" she says
"i am not just a kid, im not a kid im a med student, daughter of ellis grey" meredith says
"nepo baby" addison smirks
"you know dr..." grey pauses not knowing her name
"dr.montgomery" addison says
