the next day meredith was hungover and couldn't remember a thing from last night, but she noticed the hoodie and the sweatpants and she knew they were addison's, meredith went to work with izzie since george was still angry at her
"what did you do with addison last night?" izzie asks stopping at a red light
"what? what do you mean with addison?" meredith asks
"she brought you home" izzie says "don't tell me you slept with your ex wife" she says again
"to be honest i don't remember anything and i have a headache right now..i just miss her izzie, im such an idiot" meredith sighs
"you are an idiot but it's not your fault..obviously you're gonna miss your ex-wife" izzie says "but you are an idiot"
"not helping" meredith says
"she beat derek up because he kissed you! she ran in the rain for you she flew all the way out here after like three days after you left and you slept with george" izzie says
"i don't have an excuse for that, she was just on call one night and i missed her and i was drunk and george came in telling me all these nice things, he's to blame too you know" meredith says
"..that might be my fault" izzie says
"what?!" meredith turns to her
"i told him to tell you how he felt i didn't know he was going to sleep with you, seriously" izzie says
"so if you hadn't told him to do that my marriage wouldn't be over!" meredith says
"hey it's your fault you didn't realize he had feelings for you everyone knew everyone" izzie says
meredith gets out of the car and shuts the door she walks in with izzie and it was time for rounds after they changed
"grey you're with dr.montgomery, stevens burke, george pit, karev and yang you're with the chief" bailey says
"dr.bailey.." before meredith could finish bailey interrupts her
"she requested you grey, take it up with her" bailey says
they all run off and so does meredith
meredith meets addison at the NICU wing
"hi" addison says "i just wanted you to meet your sister she's pregnant well half sister molly grey" addison says
"you didn't have to do that" meredith says feeling a bit disappointed that addison didn't wanna see her
"well i kind of did" addison said "follow me" she walks down the hall as meredith follows
they walk into the room
"hi, dr.montgomery" molly smiles
"hey molly, this is dr...meredith this is meredith she'll be helping out" addison says
molly nods "nice to meet you, you must think i'm crazy for getting pregnant at a young age" she says
"not at all no" meredith says

meredith met her half mom and saw her dad again after she did she walked into an on call room feeling stressed
addison opens the door "are you okay, mer?" she asks
"i'm fine" meredith says
"no you're not" addison says
"i'm not" meredith says quietly
addison stands infront of meredith who's sitting down on the bed
"i saw my dad again after like twenty years, and now i know he's had another family" meredith sighs "the one he decided to stay with" she says
"mer.." addison kneels down infront of her
meredith was covering her face with her hands
"mer look at me" addison gently pulls her hands away from her face "i'm your family..okay? i'm here i'm right here and i won't leave you i'm not leaving you..i'm staying, i know we're divorced but i'm still you're family" addison says softly
meredith wraps her arms around addisons shoulders, hiding her face in addisons neck
"i love you" meredith says
"i love you too" addison says stroking her hair
they cuddle for a while until addison gets paged
"we should go" addison says looking at her pager
meredith nods getting up after her
molly just had bad contractions, and everything was fine after addison checked
after that addison and meredith went to go get lunch
"will you ever..forgive me?" meredith asks sitting down beside her
"i already have, we aren't ready to start..again" addison says
"you're considering starting again?" meredith smiles
addison turns to her then also smiles "you're too cute mer"
"i'm flattered but you didn't answer the question" meredith says
"..if you want to" addison says
"what happened last night" meredith blurts out
"l..last night? uhh nothing happened you just came to my hotel room and you showered and i gave you my clothes" addison lies but tells some truth
"oh..okay" meredith says
"yeah" addison says looking down at meredith's lips
"what're you lying about?" meredith sighs
"what?" addison asks
"you're such a bad liar, we were married for three years addie" meredith says
"i'm not lying!" addison says looking away
"yeah you are just tell me come on" meredith says
"no i didn't lie!" addison says
"it's not like i'm gonna kill you if i know the truth" meredith says
"nothing happened" addison says
"addison" meredith tilts her head
"fine you kissed me, and i kissed you back twice" addison says looking down
"why didn't you pull away?" meredith asks
"i did..that's not the point the point is we cannot kiss ever again" addison says
"what if i miss your lips?" meredith asks
"well you're just gonna have to miss them then" addison says "how about this?" addison takes her hand and kisses it
meredith smiles "i think that's a start"
