Being Ava's friend was at the expense of my happiness and chasing my choices were even more risky

The next day
I woke up and saw no one
Sophia: (I yawned) Jace!!!!
I sat up and looked around, I saw him by the corner.
Jace: Good morning beautiful. Happy first day of being my girlfriend.
I smiled
Jace: I went downstairs and made you breakfast to get you ready for today
Sophia: aww you didn't have to but thanks
Jace: your welcome. Now sit down
Jace helped me adjust and placed the tray on me. I couldn't help but notice how close he was. Those lips looked more juicier than I remembered
As he looked at me, he stared at my lips and I leaned in and kissed him. It felt so good.
Jace: hot!!
He said as he bit his lip.
He dropped a towel and told me to get ready real quick because Mrs Cherol couldn't meet us in here. Since everyone was asleep, we needed to be out on the field before everyone woke up.
Sophia: ok love
Suddenly he blushed and went to open the door...

Outside the room,
Alex was eve's dropping on the two as they spoke together. Suddenly Jace opened the door and Alex fell on the floor.
Jace: what are you doing here?
Alex suddenly looks up
Alex: oh hi Jace, just came to check on you.I heard a girls voice
Jace: which girl, there's no girl in my room
Alex suddenly looks in and sees her
Alex: is that Sophia??
Jace didn't reply and gave him a glare
Alex: OMG, I knew making you two kiss during the sleepover will bring you two together. So what did you two do?
Jace: Dirty mind, we didn't do anything besides, Sophia is my sister's best friend, I wouldn't make moves on her
Alex: sure, like I didn't hear you two last night
Suddenly Alex started mimicking them

Jace: Sophia, don't you like me?
Sophia: I like you Jace and I want to be with you but if I do this, I'm not sure my emotions will sit right with me like, I literally have a friend who thinks she's lonely when she doesn't realize she has more than she thinks

Don't put this on hold. I've waited for this moment since day one and your the reason I decided to come on this trip because I wanted to get closer to you, please Sophia don't do this.

Jace: yeah whatever
Jace shoved his hands on Alex's face and he walked by. As he did, Alex opened the door
Alex: good morning
Sophia: oh hello, Alex. How are you?
Alex: I'm good, I'm just...
Before he could finish, Jace pulled him out and closed the door.
Sophia: ( laughing )

At the field.
Mrs Cherol: good morning students.
All: good morning mam
Mrs Cherol: I hope you all had a wonderful night
Students: murmuring
Mrs Cherol: I know right?
Mrs Cherol taught the students had a nice sleep but they all spent their time chick chatting and watching YouTube

Mrs Cherol: But anyways, you all will need to partner with someone for today's adverture. For each thing we observe, each group will take a few notes and that will be your test.

Jace and I were partners. We took notes and spent the whole day together.

After everything,
Jace and I were in our rooms. That night, we stayed on the same bed.

Jace: so what do you think?
Sophia: I'm okay having you on the bed besides were dating
Jace: ok thanks
Jace and I laid on our backs and he held my hands as we looked at the ceiling.
Jace: wow, Sophia
Sophia: what happened?
Jace: us!!. I've never been in a relationship before. This is my first one and just being with you is already amazing and it's been just a day
Sophia: thanks. I also really enjoy your company and I think we're making the right choice
Suddenly Jace fell silent
Jace: but shouldn't you be angry, I mean what of Ava
Sophia: don't worry, she'll understand besides I don't want us to be a secret anymore. I think I want us to go public!!
Jace: you sure ?
Sophia: yeah, it wouldn't be bad besides Ava is my friend, I'm sure she'll understand me.
