The evening comes and Branch feels resigned that his evil stepfather had made him too busy for him to work on making his suit but then he discovered that some glowbugs and his turtle Shelliot had made him a blue suit for him to wear at the ball
Stepfather: come on sons we must make it to the ball so one of you two can sweep Princess Poppy off her feet
Branch: wait for me guys (he arrives at the door wearing a blue suit)
But then in a fit of jealous rage the stepbrothers proceeded to rip up the suit so horribly that I can't describe what happened until it was in complete ruin and the stepfamily left with a smile for the hopes that Branch would not go to the ball then Branch runs outside to cry and feel hopeless at never being able to see Poppy or his brothers again until a familiar troll appeared with a smile and a magic wand
Branch: grandma is that you
Grandma Rosiepuff: yes Branch it's me and I am here to help you go to the ball
Branch: but how the castle is pretty far and I don't have anything nice to wear anymore
Then with her magic wand Rosiepuff turned a fluffleberry into a carriage, some glowbugs into horses and Shelliot into a foottroll and then turned Branch's ruined blue suit into a elegant green suit with a hug time bracelet appearing on his wrist and Branch turned blue so nobody would recognize him

Grandma Rosiepuff: i just need to warn you Branch that my magic is only temporary and it will wear off at the last stroke of midnight
Branch then hugs his grandma and thanks her for everything, something he wished he did with her before she died and hopped into the fluffleberry carriage and headed of to the ball
