Cassius's heart had turn cruel and unloving. He wasn't recognizable anymore. He couldn't even try to be a fraction of the father Keefe deserved. He renamed The Shores of Flowers to the Shores of Solace. He went there whenever he wanted to feel his lost daughter again. But nothing, nothing could replace her. Keefe reminded him too much of Lumi it hurt. So Cassius hurt Keefe too.
Gisela. . .
Gisela was different. She had shattered. She had gone insane. She turned all her projects upside down to get revenge on them all. She convinced herself Project Lodestar was to help Keefe protect himself. She convinced herself that she was always ten steps ahead of her enemies- that she had a plan.
She kept her cool to convince people that she wasn't reckless and broken. She made herself evil to convince people that she could still be Gisela.
Oh she was going to change the world alright.
