"are you still mad at me?" dd asked, watching as amani walked around the kitchen. she grabbed enough eggs and bacon for the five of them, and got to cooking.
"i'm not mad." she replied, bluntly. dd held back a smirk at the girls pettiness and just shook his head.
"sure you're not, mani. sure."
notti and eva soon joined the pair in the kitchen, and took a seat at the table.
"damn, amani. where your fucking clothes at?" notti said jokingly, gesturing the girls shorts and small crop top she had on. "this feels like see my sister with no clothes on what the fuck." he continued, earning a small slap from eva.
"hey baby," eva said, he turned to her and nodded. "can you shut the fuck up?"
"one of y'all got to go wake up ddot, he'll probably beat my ass if i do it." amani said, plating everyone's food up. everyone sighed at what she said, making her roll her eyes. "don't all jump up at once, damn." she said, sarcastically.
she walked into the living room where ddot was, and slowly walked over to the couch. she placed a hand on his shoulder and shook him slightly.
"yo, dot. i made you breakfast, get up." she said quietly. in the time she'd known him she knew he hated mornings, so she didn't want him to hate her.
"ight..." he mumbled in response. amani walked back into the kitchen, with ddot soon following.
the five spoke about their night, and their plans for the day whilst they ate. amani wasn't even annoyed at dd anymore, but the way he was looking at her trying to get her attention was more entertaining to her than actually speaking to him.

after a few hours, everyone had left — leaving amani to finally shower and tidy her house, ready for her mom to be home.
she layed in bed, watching the new episodes of baddies east that she had missed out on, whilst her phone was pinging from messages.
