Part 1

It was a Sunday afternoon,

Khushi's Phone buzzed , she knew who it was..

She picked up & before she could give her greetings
she heard a voice

' Khushi, we are going out.. get ready & ping me I will pick you up" he said on the call

' What?? No no.. I can't come with you.. I have some things to look after ' she replied

' what things?? ' he asked

' I have.. I have to go with sam.. yeah I have to go with sam.. she needs.. she needs to buy some stuffs.. she asked me to come along.. I said yess.. soo I can't come with you now' she said with all the conviction in her voice

' Oh.. last time I checked.. Sam was a grown up woman.. I guess she can manage to buy 'some stuff' on her own.. just tell her you have other plans.' he said from the other side

' Whatt?? Noo.. noo I can't.. I can't just lie to her.. ' she said

' Oh really??? ' replied with a smirk in his voice

' ye.. yess! She is my friend.. I have to be with her when she needs m-' she said

' & what about me?? ' he said cutting her mid sentence

' what do you mean 'what about you?' we can go out some other day right.. stop sulking.. ' she said

' Okay! '

she sighed with relief..

' You can go with her..& when you are done give me a call.. I will pick you up directly from there. Alright ?' he said

'NO!! ' almost a scream
'No no no no .. I can't.. it will take a lot of time.. you know girls shopping.. I will be late at night..'

Before he could say anything she said rushing

'okay bye! See you later.. we are getting late'

She laid on her bed relieved.. now that she happily be lazy in her pyjamas & read a book, listen to music , watch a Film or just do nothing alone.. Sam is about to leave in sometime with her boyfriend.. she will not be home before late at night..

She drew the curtains to give her room the right amount of darkness..set the pleasant AC temperature.. put on some music to relax so that she could give in to sleep finally after.. she will sleep like an log after ages without anyone to disturb her .. that sounds like a plan.

*Doorbell Rang *

Which made her come out of her happy world.. she ignored thinking that sam is out there she will answer the door.. maybe it was her boyfriend at the door.

She pulled up the blanket.. close her eyes again finally finding the comfortable position to lose herself in oblivion.

she heard some footsteps approaching & door of her bedroom click

She half opened her eyes & saw a manly figure standing at the door along with sam.. she ignored still thinking she might be here to inform her that she is leaving.. she nodded half mindedly.

Khushi muffled her head against the pillow.. Sam has left the room but a manly figure was still there.. she could sense it he was looking at her.. she felt something.

Khushi for the first time looked at him with all the senses and shook her head to clear out all the little sleep she was in.. she straightened up seeing the sight in front of her.. just to make sure she was awake & not dreaming.
