1-Love?

SARAKSHI'S POV-

April 15
Dear diary,
Thank you so much for being with me all these years. Can you believe I'm 21....no right! You've been with me for the past 10 years, and I'm so thankful for that.

Are you asking me what my plans are for this birthday? Guess what this year also I'm here in my favorite park eating brownies which I baked and it tastes so good!! And that's it , a perfect birthday celebration , at least for me.

Btw, the park has changed so much, it's not the same where me and pa used to spend time. No more children playing, no more loud noise of children laughing or crying, it's all gone . Now it feels like these parks are for couples only. Can't they just get a room. Ahh leave it. I don't want to ruin my peaceful birthday.

Ok gotta go my dear friend

I closed my diary, packed my stuff ready to leave the park, and suddenly an old lady came and sat beside me on the bench. She gave me a warm smile and said

"you come here often bache"
"Yes, I love this place" I replied with a smile

"why are you alone, it's strange to see kids nowadays without their partners" She asked with a hint of sarcasm in her tone
"Is it necessary to have a partner?" She was taken aback by my answer

"Oh! So you don't have anyone in your life? I deny to believe that there is no one who love this beautiful young lady here" she said giving me a mischievous look

'Love? Huh! Who will love a girl like me, I have always walked alone I don't want anyone I thought watching the lovey dovey couples

"No, I don't have anyone in my life and I don't want anyone" I said calmly.

"Rishtey toh bhagwan bana kar bhejte hai,tumhare liye bhi koi na koi toh intezaar kar raha hoga jo tumhe dher sara pyar dega" She said patting my back.
(Relationships are made by God, there must be someone waiting for you too who will give you a lot of love)

I stayed quiet, not knowing what to say

I was lost in my thoughts until I heard a cute voice approaching towards us
"Dadiiii~" The little boy sing joyfully
(Grandmaaa~)

"He is my grandson" The old lady said

"Dadi let's go we're getting late"

"acha chalo chalti hu bache, hope we meet again" she said getting up
(Ok let's go)

"Sure" I said as I bent in front of the little kiddo and gave him chocolates, which he took, giving me a soft peck at the cheeks. Oh! I love kids.

After the old lady and her grandson left,I also left from there picking up my stuff. I walked back to my apartment as it is not that far from the park. While going back I was just thinking about whatever happened in the park.

I reached my apartment, changed my clothes, slipped inside the bedsheet and started the k-drama which I was watching earlier before leaving. And that's how my day went with a new topic to Overthink about thanks to the old lady

RASHVIK'S POV-

Another tiring day *sighs*. Being a CEO and handling all the work is tiring, okay! Anyways all the work is done, let's go home.

Thinking about home, automatically brings a smile to my face.After a tiring day going back to smiling faces of my family is what keeps me alive.

On my way back home, I stopped by a bakery to buy pastries for my pichu and my two dumb brothers, cause if I forget today,they will kill me for sure.

After reaching home I saw my old man in the kitchen cooking something, Reyansh and Rakshit were sitting on the floor playing with advik. They didn't notice me.

"Lagta hai yahan koi Mujhe pyar nahi karta" I said in a sad tone
(Looks like no one loves me here)

"Daddaaaaaaa~" Advik came running to me and hugged my legs. I picked him up and pecked his cheeks, he did the same.

"I missed you pichu" I said pouting my lips
He just said dadda and buried his face in my neck.

"Oo Mr. Dramatic, did you bring our pastries? " Asked Rakshit

"Matlab bhai thak har kar ghar aya vo nahi but pastry chaiye logo ko" I said jokingly
(Brother cam home all tired, that doesn't mean anything, but people want their pastry)

"Bhai pastry matters" Said Reyansh side hugging me

"Yeshh~" Said the little devil in my arms

"Here take it, your pastries" I said, handing over the pastries to Rakshit.

"Hogaya tum logo ka drama" Dad asked coming toward us "hogaya toh khana kha le" He said give us the 'I'm so done with you guys look'
(Done with your dramas, if you guys are done then let's eat)

"I'll freshen up real quick, I'm really hungry pa" I said putting pichu down and went to my room upstairs.

I came down after 10 minutes and helped dad set up the plates. We settled down, pa in the middle with pichu on his lap, me on the left side and Reyansh Rakshit sitting opposite to me.

We started eating and I noticed something was off. Dad was lost in his thoughts.

"Is everything okay pa, you look tensed" I asked

"Yes everything is fine, let's talk after eating"

I knew something was going on. I hope everything is alright.

After eating, we were sitting in the living room.
I asked dad what he wanted to talk about

"Beta I want to ask by any chance are you in love with anyone?"
I looked towards dad with rage and said angrily

"love? Are you asking me if I love someone?"

"Beta listen to me first,you have to move on someday, for yourself, for Advik"dad said

"I've already done this mistake once, dad, don't expect me to fall in love with someone again.
I don't want anyone I can walk alone. I have you guys and most importantly I DON'T BELIEVE IN LOVE" I said furiously.

"I don't have any problem beta, the thing is I'm asking you this is because you have to do what I say now, if you had someone in your life then I would have not forced you" dad said calmly

"What it is dad?" I asked

"Remember Sanjay Agarwal, my business partner and good friend" dad asked
"Yes" I replied

"I want you to get married to his daughter"dad said looking at me

"WHAT!?"
