She got out of her bed went to bath and came out to get ready

She let her hair down and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast only to get attacked by an unexpected hug to her legs which made her stumble back a little and laugh to see her teddy bear looking at her with his sleepy eyes and smiling at her
"Good morning mama"
Iris just hoisted him on her hip saying
"Good morning my sweet boy. Are you ready for today's adventure"
"Yeah"
"Yeah then let's get you ready for the day so we can have yummy pancakes"
"With chocolate syrup?"
"Sure but only some"
"Okay"
"Good boy now go and bath"
Teddy ran to his bathroom as Iris put a shirt and pants for Teddy on his bed and went to the kitchen to get the pancakes ready

It's been three years since I and Reene got divorced but he didn't feel sad but relieved as he knew their relationship was not going to last he only put up with her because of his daughter.
As per the court order, she got to stay with her mother until she was seventeen but she could visit him in the summer holidays and Christmas holidays.
