Depresso is a spy for The TV Adware.

Now, this may sound crazy, but let me ask you this simple question. Why would The TV Adware sell The Showgrounds to SMG4 without checking the entire place and who lived there first? Simple: He wouldn't.

We already know that from the episode 'SMG4: Our New Home', it was The TV Adware who made the listing for The Showgrounds. We can tell this by the fact that his logo was next to the name of the place and by the fact that Boopkins had never seen it before and would not have sold it to SMG4 if Tom Nook had not been threatening him and his life. And the fact that when SMG4 buys it the background music changes to the 'TV Time' theme song.

He's also been pushed around and ignored by the crew, causing him to become friends with rats instead of them and become the king of them in 'The Infestation'. All of Mr.Puzzles victims, so far, are characters who are desperate for something and will do anything for it: SMG4 wanted his perfect video; One Shot Wren wanted to be recognised as the Splatfest champion that he once was again and wanted a rightful opponent, Meggy; and Marty wanted to make money and do something bigger than the pizza shop. He could go after him, acting like he wants to be his friend or promising that he'll make him friends or that he'll make him accepted by the crew, which would end up disastrous, just like what happened with all of his other victims.

It just makes sense! Luke and the team would not put a repeating character in without any reason for doing so!
