all my worries were then washed away. i'm so glad.

haesung stood up & took a couple of steps forward.

"it doesn't hurt anymore." she said.

her doctor smiled in relief, "that's good. just visit me whenever it does."

she then nodded and turned to me. "thank you for taking care of me."

i softly smiled at her, "its a friend duty."

after thanking and bidding our farewells to her doctor, we exited his clinic.

"do you want to go somewhere?" i asked. "like,, somewhere to eat."

she hesitated, "no, i'm fine... i've troubled you enough."

i then frowned, disapproving on what she stated. "just like what i said earlier, a friends duty." i said.

"hangout with me like i'm your friend, not your boss." i sent her an smile. "we're all family in the cafe anyways."

thinking about my words, she nodded. "okay" she flashed a bright smile.

d-did a ball of sunshine just appear in front of me?

"jiwoong..?" she waved a hand in front of my face.

something sparked inside me as she called me by name, and as odd as it is, it had always been like that since the first time.

calm down, you told her yourself to call you by name.

"jiwoong?" she called again.

"a-ah, sorry for suddenly spacing out like that."

she sent her usual small smile, "its okay."

i then scratched my nape, "maybe you should rest first since your foot just healed."

yeah..

"lets go, i'll drive you back to your apartment."

i'm just her boss-friend (if that exists), calm down.
