The tension in the room was palpable as years of unresolved emotions filled the air. Jahseh's grip on my hand tightened, seeking comfort and support in this unexpected confrontation. He turned his head towards me and whispered before saying "when I say run, you run as fast as you can don't look back" he said Tears filled my eyes as I realized the gravity of the situation. I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest, ready to do whatever it took to protect him. The silence that followed was deafening, amplifying the weight of our unspoken fears and the uncertain outcome that awaited us.

Jahseh then looked at stoke "be take care of lana" Jahseh's eyes met mine. "I love you" meeting his forehead with mine kissing it as he cupped my face gently. "I love you too," I whispered, my voice shaky. With one last lingering touch, we reluctantly let go of each other's embrace, knowing that our lives were about to change forever."GO NOW" he said his eyes began to glow as he started breathing heavily

As I turned to run his words kept replaying in my heard "dont look back lana don't look back" I can hear stoke shouting at me telling me to focus grabbing my hand leading me away.

Stoke and I reached the dense woods, panting and out of breath, I found herself lost in my own thoughts. Tears streamed down her cheeks.Stoke glanced over at me he can tell I wasn't in the right mental state I mean who would be after everything i've been through fuck I can lose him again

I paced back and forth before speaking "fuck stoke please just tell me he will be okay I can lose him again" I breathed out Stoke's eyes softened with empathy as he gently squeezed my shoulder. "he will make it Jah is a fighter just relax okay?" he reassured her, his voice filled with sympathy.

I ran my fingers through my hair as she tried to calm her racing thoughts. I took a deep breath, trying to find solace in Stoke's words and hold onto hope for Jah's recovery.

crunch crunch crunch

We heard the sounds of leaves crunching without hesitian stoke stood in front of me and turned his head towards the source of the noise. Both our eyes widen to be meet with jahseh, he was covered stumbling could barley stand under the weight of his own exhaustion. His clothes were torn and dirtied, and his face was etched with a mix of fear and relief.

His eyes met mine, relief washing over him as he rushed towards me. "jahseh"  I whispered , my voice barely audible over the sound of our pounding hearts. I reached out to embrace him, feeling the warmth of his body against mine. Tears welled up in my eyes as I held him tightly, grateful that he was finally safe. In a weak tone "lana" he said before falling to his knees passing out I caught him just in time, lowering him gently to the ground. Caressing his face I looked over at stoke "let's go home" I said with tear eyes Stoke nodded helping me lift up jahseh as we made out way out the woods to another safe house

As we made our way out of the woods, a sense of relief washed over me. The weight of the past few days seemed to lift slightly, knowing that we were finally heading towards safety.
