Marching in now are the Task Force Colours, the Branch colours and the Guard of Honour Contingents. The colours were originally military flags that were means of identification when in battle. In the past, they helped troops differentiate friend from foe on the battlefield and held strategic value because they were able to show how a battle was panning out. Because it was meant to rally soldiers to predetermined levels, capturing an enemies' colours was considered a  great honour while using those colours is a severe humiliation. Hence, a group of Commanders and Manjuus called the Colours' Party was assigned to protect the colours whenever they were brought into battle. We don't see them very often these days, only during important events like Anniversary Day and Navy Day parades where they add to the pomp and pageantry

...

On the stage are the 5 branch colours, escorted by men and women of the Surface Fleet Command, Air power Generation Command, Naval Infantry Command, Submarine Command and the newly formed Intelligence and Cyberspace Command

Evan: yeah, this is probably not going to be the next log as my real life counterpart needs more time to work on the narration of the Task Force Colours and the Branch Colours of Azur Lane

Glorious: yes but we can confirm that Azur Lane has colours that are rarely seen except on important events like Anniversary Day and Navy Day Parades

Glorious looks around before noticing that I'm gone

Glorious: Evan? That guy... always disappearing randomly. anyways, by colours we don't mean the usual Red, Yellow, Green

Evan: it's this

i reappeared, carrying a pole with a black wrapping encasing the top, startling Glorious

Glorious: Ah! Where did you go Evan?

Evan: places, anyways can you please help me with this

i slowly used both of my hands to lower the pole until the black wrapping is near Glorious

Glorious: wait Evan is that...

Evan: yes it is. now please help me remove this

Glorious nodded before removing the black wrapping, revealing a black gold fringed military flag with Task Force Zero Fire's Emblem on it

Glorious: That's!

Evan: Yes. Task Force Zero Fire's Colour. only seen during important events

Glorious: but how?

Evan: Admiral Kenneth managed to persuade the Colours' Party to temporary loan Task Force Zero Fire's colour to us. In fact, Task Force Zero Fire's Colour did appear in the ending and beginning of Azur Lane Kinkyuu Shutsujou and Night in Kivotos respectively where me and the other members of Task Force Zero Fire conducted a mini parade before leaving for our respective second jobs. Anyways i guess that's all for now. See you next time readers

Glorious: goodbye!

Evan: SIR!!

i exclaimed, raising Task Force Zero Fire's colour into the air
