ELEANOR LET OUT a shaky breath, looked down to her feet, and then began walking towards the dark wall. As she grew closer, it seemed as though the height of the wall did not change, nor the stretch of it. She raised her hand, blocking the sunlight to her eyes, in hopes to see further but to no avail, there were no doors or openings to The Labyrinth.

"How do I get in?" She thought aloud, watching the dried trees and bushes from which she and the Goblin King had emerged.

Delicately, a rangale of deer stepped out of the shrubbery. They were completely white, embellished  with crystals in their skin, spiralling around each muscle. The Stag of the herd had conjoined antlers the circumference of a ship's helm, with moss and flowers growing in between the nooks and crannies. She watched in awe as the family cautiously approached, a single albino fawn following them from behind. Eleanor wondered how such beautiful creatures could call a place like The Labyrinth their home. They did not belong there.

Within a second, the herd bolted towards the wall, too quick for the little fawn. Eleanor flinched, yet continued to observe the baby attempt to keep up with its family. It's fragile legs stumbled and eventually caught on an overgrown root and tumbled to the ground. Once the herd had jumped the wall, leaving the fawn behind, Eleanor crouched and watched the baby.
