Chapter 6- Viraj made Anvi cry?

Hey guys, there is a surprise for you at the end of the chapter so read till the end. Hope you like it.

Viraj POV

Anvi got scared and clinged onto me and I chuckled looking at her antics. She looked at me and huffed "Why are you laughing at me??!!" oh god, she looked so good with red covering her face with anger. "You look so scared and the way you are clinging onto me." I said still laughing.  That's when she realised that she was still clinging onto me and she stiffened moving away from me and started fixing her clothes. I pulled her back towards me holding her wrist and her body hit my chest while she looked at me with confusion. "You know you can cling onto me if you want "blush creeped onto her face, but before we could say anything we were interrupted by Anshikaa "ahem ahem" she said with Daiwik and Reyansh smirking behind her. Anvi quickly got out of my hold looking puzzled "Why are they here and what was that explosion sound?" she asked "Uhh... about the explosion, it was supposed to happen later but it happened now and about Anshikaa Daiwik and Reyansh being here it is to celebrate your late-night birthday." "My birthday is still on 17th" she said and I showed her my phone "and its 16th today." "You forgot your own birthday" Anshikaa said rolling her eyes at Anvi and she just passed her a sheepish smile. "What was that sound supposed to mean though?" Anvi asked "Welcome Crackers" Reyansh smiled scratching his neck. "Well then, let's get you in." I spoke. We all went inside my house which was very beautifully decorated, thanks to Anshikaa, Reyaansh and Daiwik. Reyansh has my house key most of the time so it wasn't a problem getting in for them. I had a very shitty last few days, but there was no way I wasn't celebrating Anvi's sixteenth birthday. So, I had called our friends in the afternoon and Anvi taking me out gave them a good time to prepare. Hence, it actually came out pretty well as a surprise.

Avantika POV

I went into Viraj's house with my friends. It had a been years since I had last been here. It was so beautifully decorated. I almost can't believe my friends did this for me, they remembered my birthday which even I had forgotten. Maybe all friend groups aren't that bad and having more than one best friend is not that bad. I was so overwhelmed I didn't even realise when I had started crying. "Hey!!! Why are you crying? Its fine." My friends cooed out in unison and I hugged them all. "Okay Okay now no more rona-dhona. Let's play truth or dare. I mean its our standard." Ika said. I noticed Viraj frown and I just glared at him. "Yea yea let's play."  He said the moment he saw me glaring at him. I just laughed internally, feeling strong that I can control THE VIRAJ SHEKHAWAT "I'll got get a bottle" I said and headed towards the kitchen. I was mumbling to myself about how much my leg was hurting because of the extra walking I was doing today when I heard my friends hooting. Curious to know what it was about I turned back bumping into Viraj, now I know what the hooting was about. "What are you doing here?" I huffed rubbing my head that had just collided with my head. Why is he so tall?? Like he's 5'11 but I'm just a 5'3 baby. "I thought your leg was hurting; I'll carry you back." He lifted me up in bridal style before I could even say anything. I was too stunned to even react and he passed me 'I do what I say' smile. "I'm heavy, I'm 50 kg" I instantly regretted saying that "I work out daily if you don't know." He spoke. We reached the living room and he put me down one of the couches. Ika squealed in excitement "What was this ????" "Her leg was aching." Viraj said in the most nonchalant tone shrugging his shoulders as if he did this all the time. Ika passed me an 'I need details' look. It's going to be a long night.  "Okay let's play now." Daiwik said. We spun the bottle and it pointed towards ika. "Truth or Dare" I asked "truth" she said. Instantly Viraj spoke "Do you like someone???" "Why do you care "I muttered. "Did you say something?" Viraj asked me "NO!" I said and turned my face away, but I could feel smirking. "Yes" ika said. Which stunned all of us. "Who??" we all asked her together. "One answer is all you get." She spoke. I was my turn to pass her an 'I need details' look. We spun the bottle again. It pointed to Reyaansh. "Truth or Dare" ika asked. "Dare" he replied. This time Daiwik spoke. "Call your ex and tell her you're her father's age in real life."  Reyaansh completed the dare while we all burst into laughter listening to how badly that girl roasted Reyaansh. We spun the bottle again, it pointed to Viraj. "Truth or Dare" Reyaansh asked. "Truth" he said. "Do you like someone?" Ika asked him back.  "Yes" he said with biggest smile and his ears turning red. "Do you like Anvi??" ika asked. "I'll go get some more coke." He spoke. I couldn't take it. I would start crying if I stayed here any longer. "I need to use the washroom" I said and ran toward the washroom. "You guys can carry on" I screamed back. Till the time I came back I saw that the bottle was still pointing at Viraj.  "Truth or dare" Daiwik asked. "Dare" he said this time. "Kiss Avantika on the cheeks" Reyaansh told him. I almost chocked on the coke I was drinking. Viraj looked at me as if I was an Alien from mars. "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9- "I kissed him on his cheeks and that's when the alarm rang. It was my birthday. 

Viraj POV

Avantika kissed me. I was too shocked to react and I just sat there frozen. Suddenly the alarm rang. The clock struck 12. It was her birthday. "Happy Birthday" I wished her and I didn't know what to do after that so I just walked towards the balcony to clear my mind. I could hear Avantika crying and I was feeling very bad to make her cry and I felt for destroying myself for acting like an ass that too on her birthday, but I knew I needed this escape. All my friends were consoling her, but she just wouldn't stop crying. I stood in the balcony for some time when I felt some presence around me. I turned back and looked at Anvi staring at me with red swollen eyes. "I can't hold it back anymore Viraj. I need to tell you. I've liked you since fourth grade. I thought even you liked me, but I have my own doubts now." "No, Anvi I like you very much. I was talking about you when I said I liked someone earlier." "Yea! That's why you didn't say anything when ika asked you if you liked me and avoided the topic." "I didn't want to rush-" "You didn't even kiss me Viraj and when I kissed you it was such a perfect moment-" "Are yaar listen to me-" "This is not done Viraj. You don't like me!!" She started crying again and I couldn't bear to see her like this. Without thinking twice, I held her by her neck, pinning her to the railing and smashed my lips onto hers. It was a kiss I had been waiting too long for. She had been too shocked at first, but eventually she reciprocated the kiss with the same passion and it wasn't until our breadths were hagged that we stopped. Breaking the kiss, I said "I like you Anvi. Way more than you can even imagine." She hugged me and I hugged her back lifting her and swirling her around. I showed her, her gift.  It was a gold chain with a heart shaped pendant with Anvi written inside it which had zircon on it. I put it around her neck. That's when we realised that our friends had seen everything. When we looked at them, they came and hugged us and congratulated us.  "This Was my best birthday till date." Anvi squealed pecking my lips again, and it was kind of cute to see her getting the highest she can on her toes to reach my face as she was very short compared to my height. Her head reaches my shoulders. I am glad I made it a successful day for her and the best day of my life.
