Chapter 30

I jumped for joy.  

"I need to get to the hospital fast!" I yelled.  

"Do you know how to get out if here?" Jess asked.  

I nodded and started to run in my vampire speed.  

They all followed silently. 

"Ok I'm away to the hospital, come if you want I don't care! I'm a big sister!" 

I stared to run again.  

I ran as fast as I could to the hospital that my mom was at.  

It wasn't that long.  

I walked in.  

"Hi my mom Jessica Wesley has just came in could you tell me what room she's in?" I asked the lady at the desk.  

"Yes, she's in room 6B" 

"Thank you" 

I walked passed the doors.  

4A, 5C here we go room 6B I thought to myself.  

I knocked and walked in.  

"Kat! Thank God your here!" she sighed and smiled.  

"Yeah...were is dad?" 

"He went out to hunt before I went into labor" 

"How did you get here?" 

"Brad drove me" 

"Ok...I'll go find dad ok"  

"Sure...hurry back though" 

"I will"

After running all over the place I finally caught a scent that was on my mom.  

"Dad!" I yelled.  

"Yes" he came whizzing in front of me.  

"Moms in labor she's at the hospital" 

"Let's go then...quickly" 

I nodded and grabbed his hand and practically dragged him the whole way.  

"When did a new born vampire get so fast?" 

"I don't know"

I took him to the room were my mom was.  

"You found him?" she asked shocked.  

"He wasn't that hard to find" 

"Yeah...she just called out my name" he said.  

"Well ok" 

She closed her eyes and took a sharp intake of breath.  

"I hate this part" she breathed. 

"I would like to say I know what you mean but I don't" I said. 

She laughed. 

The doctors came in.  

"I think you are ready to go into the delivery room mrs. Wesley" the doctor said.  

She nodded and wheeled her off with my dad.  

"I'll be out here!" I called.

I waited and waited and waited.  

I heard my dad whisper my name. 

I ran to him.  

"What?" 

"She's dying" he breathed.  

I looked over at my mom 

I bit my wrist.  

"Kat what are you doing?" he asked.  

"Saving my moms life"  

I lowered my wrist to her mouth.  

I pushed my blood down her throat.  

She waked my wrist away. 

"It's ok" I said.  

She screamed.  

"Mom?" 

"Out, baby's coming" my dad said.  

"Doctor" 

I went out the room waiting in the hall. Walking up and down and up and down.  

I heard my mom scream a couple of times and my dad saying it will be ok and then crying.  

"Oh my God" I whispered.  

I jumped up and down.  

"I'm a sister!" I bounced up and down.  

"Kat?" 

"Yeah" I turned and looked at my dad.  

"Come on"  

"Ok" 

I walked with him.  

"Hey" I said to my mom.  

"Hi"  

"Where is she?"  

"Over here" 

My dad handed her to me.  

I smiled and sat down.  

Her lovely pink cheeks and her piercing green eyes.  

Everything was now perfect.  

I had a baby sister, I had my friends, I had Paul, I had my dad back and everything was perfect now.
