In the following weeks, Opal and Pallas-001 worked tirelessly in Metro Labs. Opal was excited to explore the realms connected through the gates with her android companion, and Pallas-001 was equally thrilled to accompany her. The scouter equipment was designed to analyze and collect data from the different realms, allowing Opal to satisfy her insatiable curiosity.

As they ventured into various dimensions, Opal marveled at the diversity of landscapes, creatures, and magic that existed beyond the central hub of Metropolis. Pallas-001, with her digitized feline consciousness, proved to be a valuable companion, providing insights and analyses on the magical energies they encountered.

During their explorations, Opal and Pallas-001 discovered ancient ruins, mythical creatures the young scientist had never seen in her many books, as well as a slew of strange people along the way. Opal's scientific mind was constantly at work, and she eagerly documented every piece of information they gathered.

One day, while exploring a realm filled with floating islands and ethereal landscapes, Opal felt a heat coming from her pack that she had never felt before, she pulled out the peculiar artifact she had stolen from her father as a child. Opal cleverly disguised the book many years ago and re-covered the outside of the book to hide it from her family—the ancient book's pages were now glowing with an otherworldly light underneath its disguise.

Opal had always been drawn to the mysterious tome that led her to the tree of origins and to Pallas. She opened it once more, to find writings and illustrations appearing before her eyes, detailing never-seen secrets of gate manipulation and what appeared to be the origin of the Guardians.

As she delved into the ancient knowledge, Opal's eyes widened with realization. The book began to reveal information about the very gates that connected the realms, their purpose, and the existence of a higher realm within the Prime Gate that governed them all, but not from Gaiya's direct perspective, it was as if Gaiya was being dictated to and was writing anothers words down within the book. A sense of familiarity of the words she read, but not realizing what they meant.

"Are these words from the God of the Gate himself?" Opal mumbled to herself.

Opal's mind raced with excitement, and she felt a newfound sense of purpose within the newly revealed discovery. She was determined to uncover the truths hidden within the gates and understand the intricate web that connected the realms. The messy haired scientist vowed to use the mystical book to unlock the secrets of her world.

As the two of them traversed through realms, encountered strange creatures, and faced challenges that tested their wits and abilities, Opal's reputation as a brilliant scientist and explorer spread far and wide. The people of Metropolis admired her for her groundbreaking discoveries and contributions to their understanding of the interconnected worlds.

However, not everyone viewed Opal's pursuits with admiration. Rumors began to circulate the many realms about the ambitious scientist who sought to unravel the mysteries guarded by the gods themselves.
